I think I had upwards of 300 when we were doing some testing on the korograths...
Though the Empathy was more interesting. I wanted to try manipulating the korograth :) It worked, for about 10 seconds......
(The korograths can't really be manipulated now, by the way, by intention. The thing's several tens of times your size....)

<<The korograths can't really be manipulated now...>>
Neither can most other things...
Sorry, that one was wide open and it's been a while since I've made a "Manipulate is stupidly underpowered" gripe :P
Seriously though, it really needs to be revisited. I'm not sure if it's the creatures' stats being way out of whack at higher levels or what, but I'm encountering a lot of creatures these days that I can't even despawn with a max-prep Innocence. As a general rule of thumb, I have to be able to despawn things with Innocence cast at no more than about 15-20 mana to even have a chance at Manipulating them, so that's way out of the question for these creatures.
Thanks,
-Grand Master Empath Karthor

Ya, but it probably has a brain the size of a walnut... That should make a difference! :)

The only critters that should be exempted wholesale are:
NPCs
Familiars
Companions
If any other combat critters are not functional (meaning you get the "not interested at this time" message), please let me know.

Oops, gotcha Koryu.
>I think these lists are fun, but is there really a point to tracking a skill with less than 50 ranks?
Yeah, I was thinking about a cut off if the list gets to big, but right now I want everyone to be included that wants to be.

Exactly. IMO the list is a goof in the first place, since it's a tert skill for Empaths and one that people wouldn't expect us to be good at. But IMO it's just as much a choice not to train brawling as it is to train it and everyone should be represented who wants to be.

Hey thanks for posting that, it's fun to track where we're at periodically.
I like training brawling. It gives me a little extra something to do, I like shoving animals (come on, who doesn't?) and the extra training points to spend are a perk.
I'd like to keep hearing about training strategies for combat-oriented empaths. It makes my heart go pitter-pat when someone attacks me and I just smile as their spell/arrow goes flying by me.
