Hah, I'm glad to hear you say that because I thought the same thing on my Empath yesterday but I couldn't decide if I was just remembering it wrong or if something had changed.

Are you guys starting another transfer (likely one involving the word "all") before starting your vitality transfer? My impression was that's what causes it to go slow; if you get the vitality transfer going first the vitality should go more like normal. It smells like a bug, so hopefully it can be tracked down and squashed soon.
