So... I picked up the three area/group/team support magical feats a while back, in hopes of making myself more useful in combat.
Are any empath spells actually group castable..?

The Area Casting feat only unlocks the CAST AREA syntax for beneficial spells that can already be CAST GROUP.
Beneficial Empath spells whose target is area/group:
• Aesandry Darlaeth: group functionality seems to be broken (and Area Casting might not apply to it anyway)
• Raise Power: it's already an area spell
So unless you're into group sorcery spells, I would skip the group-related feats.
