You forgot about removing constructs Lyneya. Just make sure you call it "Szrael's Law" when you ban the illegal use of critters for empath's learning weapon skills.

mmm, yummy...a new member of Team Empath. Glad you took on the job, thanks in advance!
So, if you could wave a magic wand and instantly have whatever projects most interest you, annoy you enough to want to fix or absoloutely need to get done because the guild needs it, what would your top 5 projects be and why? No pressure to get them done in any order, things will happen as they happen! I'm just curious what sorts of things you'd like to see for the guild...:)
And since it wouldn't be fair to ask without sharing too...
1. Short term adjustment to learning Empathy from current systems - While it'd be nice to see SHIFT, MANIPULATE and HEAL all re-done to teach appropriate empathy to the risk/time, I suspect those are big projects. Would be nice to see some uptweak in the current rate of learning until they can be properly addressed.
2. More benifits to empaths in combat - I'd like to see increased empathy rates for anything done in combat (ie. healing in combat = more risk so should teach more). Our avengers aren't horrible, but would be nice to have more control over them. And of course, more creatures flagged as constructs, at least 1 mid-range type per provience "soon" with provience-appropriate leveled ones as can be added.
3. Increased participation of the empath guild involvement in current events - Already on the right track with this. Would not surprise me if the Empath guild with all the combat-focused empaths already involved in the events had a guild-sanctioned 'group' also strongly opposed to all necromancy. While not 'hunt down and cleanse' like the Cleric Guild inquisition group, possibly focused more on the lore and alchemy front. Have a way for empaths to 'flood' an area with life that makes it harder for undead to be called (and of course pisses them off more if the empath is too low level). Which leads to my next wish...
4. More empath herb and alchemy uses - We may not be able to hurt necro's via attacks, but why can't we taint their abilities/supplies that pervert natural items. Making Sprout permanant to herbs would be good. Some empath concotions or a SHIFT ability that blend different herbs together (ie. instead of a jadice flower and yelith root, we can shift them together to make a total limb heal herb).
5. Blood creatures in every provience - With the 'new' mechanics put in place in the croc marsh where the worms will not attach if there is armor, there really isn't any reason not to have blood critters in more hunting areas now. I could see ticks in hunting areas with beasts (leucros, azurmos, jackals, etc.), worms in water hunting areas (crocs, frogs, crayfish, etc.) and various leeches in sand & mucks (muspar'i, lost grounds past corik's wall, darkmist moor, etc.). While the current FA system is excellent for learning the skill (IMO), it would be another way to get some empathy moving without the endless cycle of power walks.
Anyhow, it's good to have an Empath champion again!

I'm hesitant to give a full list of projects that interest me, because I don't know yet what I'm going to be able to get away with and I don't want to get your hopes up!
I will say this: A full construct critter ladder would make me very happy, and I'd love to see our Khalo active again. There's some fantastic potential for fun there. I have a few major guild event ideas rolling around in the back of my mind.
There's a lot more that I am thinking about, and as I solidify my plans and determine the possibilities, I will keep you all in the loop!

I'm hesitant to give a full list of projects that interest me, because I don't know yet what I'm going to be able to get away with and I don't want to get your hopes up!
I will say this: A full construct critter ladder would make me very happy, and I'd love to see our Khalo active again. There's some fantastic potential for fun there. I have a few major guild event ideas rolling around in the back of my mind.
There's a lot more that I am thinking about, and as I solidify my plans and determine the possibilities, I will keep you all in the loop!
