Given the respec, I was wondering how high Moon Mages here have trained strength? I hunt with ME and wear LC, so strength, and want to be stealthy. I have strength at 20, is that worth cranking down a couple of points?
What about charisma? Should I pump it?

20 is a good number for strength: That way you won't be burdened readily by your gear.
I really can't advise about your other stats without knowing where they stand and what spells you use.

"I was wondering how high Moon Mages here have trained strength?"
Strength : 32
"What about charisma? Should I pump it?"
If you like using WvW spells like MB, yes.

>>Isnt there a magic number, like 36 or something where you can get min rt for most storebought weapons? I wouldnt go too much higher than that with a MM, but again, my primary guy is a paladin, so what do I know.
Eh, weapons aren't the only reason to train strength. Main reason, sure, but not the only. <shrugs>

Circle 49 Gnome
Strength : 10 Reflex : 50
Agility : 30 Charisma : 25
Discipline : 30 Wisdom : 20
Intelligence : 26 Stamina : 24
I only had 10 strength before the respec and only raised it to 10 because swimming seemed ridiculous with 5 str.
I am so glad to get rid of a lot of wisdom; it seems like the weakest stat in the game. Can always raise it if I change my mind.

I should have mentioned I play an elf.
Was thinking to boost agility and reflex over strength long run to take advantage of a nicely balanced scimitar I use. But still wonder how high charisma should go for spell slinging and mental blasting? Is the answer "Higher"?

I think wisdom has a bunch of minor roles in astrology-related things, so for moon mages, that's another perk. I do agree that wisdom needs help, overall. The EXP nerf was an overcompensation for a few high level elotheans (a pair of barbarians in particular). But really, I think strength and stamina need work before wisdom.

Basically.

Aim for balance, since Moon Mages have to be ready for everything, too. But STR and STM can certainly take last place as long as you're keeping up with your weapon and burden.
120th circle Elf Moon Mage.
So far I wouldn't change a thing, although I haven't quite decided where to go next.
Primary armor is plate, top 3 weapons are HE, 2HE and Brawling, hiding and stalking are higher than Evasion.
I'm sure there are many successful models, though.

150th Gnome. If I respec, it'll just be to test things out:
Right now I want to max out Agility to assist with weapon training before moving on to the last 3 stats. Charisma is nice for casting, but I find other stats are more useful overall. The high wisdom and intelligence make more sense in TF than they would in prime.
