Yeah telescopes are really really picky.
I love that you can't use the AP if you can't focus on a shard (Or focus on anything for that matter) if you have a minor head bleeder.
I'm waiting till the day I forgot that fact and use the 100th ability to get into the AP and then can't get back out because of a slight head wound. That will be a bad day.
