I was toying with having one at my web site, but after reading something on the Crossroads of Elanthia site, and not seeing much response to a contest Rhidian tried to have, I came to the conclusion that web sites (other than the boards here) aren't somewhere lots of people go to check on stuff, they are more of a standby for when you need to go look something up, therefore they make poor platforms to hold contests on.

Hmm, I think I might have needed a period in there somewhere.

Well, you could put a concert on your site, and then advertise about it in the contests folder or something ; )
