Here is a record from the Visions Meeting held earlier today.
Thanks!
[18:11] Miskton exclaims, "Okay, I believe that's everybody that I'm aware of who's coming, so I think we can begin!"
[18:13] Miskton says, "I think, perhaps, that before we begin, it might be appropriate to have a moment of silence for all those that were lost at the fortress of the Crystal Hand during the eruption of the Lesser Fist. Many lives were lost that day."
[18:15] Miskton says, "I hope that at some point an excavation can be undertaken, both to put any remains that can be recovered to a more dignified rest, as well as to see if any of the artifacts lost in the collapse can be recovered."
[18:17] Miskton says, "Since the eruption, and the defeat of the Akul'tiz, the web of fate has become a bit calmer than it had been in the recent past. I've not seen any new visions for some time, and most of the most dire ones have stopped occurring, leading me to believe that whatever it was that Tiv was trying to do, it worked."
[18:17] Sebestyen says, "Ahh refreshing, not so much gloom to go with the doom.."
[18:18] Miskton says, "There's still some question as to just what the cost might have been, though... if anybody should spot any signs of Guildleader Tiv, please, let people know."
[18:19] Miskton says, "Not all of the ominous visions have vanished, unfortunately."
[18:19] Sebestyen says to himself, "Go figure."
[18:19] Miskton says, "And there's one that the destruction of the Crystal Hand fortress may well fit into..."
[18:20] Miskton says, "Six towers of light sprang into being about me. They were aglow with chilly starlight, solid and seemingly eternal. Yet as I watched, fissures, dark as the void, spiderwebbed through each of them, causing one to explode in a shower of searing fragments."
[18:20] Miskton says, "The remainder resisted. For a time. Until the top of another tower imploded, leaving naught but a ragged stump behind."
[18:20] Miskton says, "The remaining four continued to struggle, though the fissures were now a vast network of absolute darkness, until, they too, could stand no more and crumbled into motes of dying light."
[18:20] Miskton says, "If the first tower represents the Crystal Hand guildhall, we may have another disaster looming on the horizon."
Levinas points down.
[18:21] You say to Levinas, "I hope not, but ... I do worry."
[18:21] Wierdwood says, "I'd wager not. But there are others."
[18:22] Levinas calmly says, "Riverhaven, Crossbow Bend, Trabe Plateau."
[18:22] Miskton says, "I'm somewhat inclined to think it might be a different guildhall than this one, though I don't have a lot of evidence to back it up."
[18:22] Levinas calmly says, "Cherulisa has ties to Tiv."
[18:23] Miskton says, "I just think that if the Great Tower were to implode, the implications would be spread beyond the guild itself, and might well be felt through additional visions."
[18:23] Wierdwood says, "Indeed."
[18:24] Miskton says, "I'm not sure what specific steps could be taken with such a vague threat, unfortunately."
[18:24] You say, "I think evacuating this time, if we get a clearer hint as before... might be prudent."
[18:25] Cristalyn softly says, "May I ask."
[18:25] Wierdwood says, "Better awareness that the threat exists, if nothing else, is useful."
[18:25] Cristalyn softly says, "Why is it assumed it's a building that's being destroyed."
[18:25] Cristalyn softly asks, "Perhaps the leaders themselves?"
[18:25] Levinas calmly says, "One already has been."
[18:25] Miskton says, "That's a possibility as well. The tower imploded, which could mean a number of things."
[18:25] Levinas calmly asks, "Is it certain Phelim took on Tiv's existence?"
[18:26] You say, "The first tower explodes, much like the first guildhall literally exploded."
[18:26] Miskton says to Levinas, "I think Phelim may have been involved in whatever Tiv was trying to do, but I don't believe that was Phelim that spoke to us in the volcano..."
[18:26] You say, "For the second tower, the top explodes... and.. the moon mage guild is on the top of this tower..."
[18:27] Wierdwood says, "And the one in Crossing."
[18:27] Levinas calmly asks, "Is there a sect hall in this tower?"
[18:27] Wierdwood says, "Ignoring the garden atop it."
[18:27] Levinas calmly says, "Theres also a sect hall in Crossing."
[18:27] Miskton asks, "Oh, wait, a sect hall?"
[18:27] Miskton says, "Down below, yes."
[18:27] Dianelle asks, "Aren't all moon mages on top of a tower?"
[18:27] Levinas calmly says, "Celestians are out of Crossing."
[18:27] Wierdwood says, "Which is itself a sect hall, atop a tower."
[18:28] Miskton says, "Not actually within the tower itself, but out in the garden."
[18:28] You say to Dianelle, "The Nomads are more fond of the wide, open spaces."
[18:28] Dianelle asks, "Still, there's a tower out there isn't there?"
[18:28] Wierdwood says, "The vision is of the top of the tower being struck."
[18:28] Levinas calmly says to you, "Not entirely true."
[18:28] You say, "But even then the hall is in the side of a cliff."
[18:28] Levinas calmly says to you, "Im a Windwalker..."
[18:28] You say to Levinas, "Not all."
[18:29] Cristalyn softly says, "It appears one of our members has just seen something."
[18:29] Cristalyn softly says, "From the southeast, an ominous shadow darkens the sky. As you watch, it turns westward and continues uninterrupted acoss the heavens."
[18:29] You say, "I've seen that before..."
[18:30] You say, "It was gnomes."
[18:30] Levinas calmly says, "They're active tonight."
[18:30] Cristalyn softly asks, "Gnomes?"
[18:30] Levinas calmly says, "Several of my comrades in Zoluren are involved."
[18:30] Cristalyn softly says, "Okay.."
[18:31] Wierdwood says, "Zerreck attacked many in Crossing already."
[18:31] Miskton says, "Though looking up did make me notice one thing... the constellation of the wolf has changed again. It's now completely engulfed by that red and purple-brown cloud, though the stars still burn through it."
[18:31] You say, "He still is now, I think."
[18:31] Wierdwood says, "We came from there."
[18:31] Levinas calmly says, "Thats a clerical issue."
[18:32] Miskton says, "That still looks ominous... but I don't believe anyone has yet found any records that might indicate what it means."
[18:34] Wierdwood says, "Might be time to go move some shelves around again so I can sit and study in Throne City, there's always a book buried somewhere."
[18:34] Levinas calmly says, "I may accompany you."
[18:35] Levinas calmly asks, "Taramaine is still up there, yes?"
[18:35] Wierdwood says, "Last I was there."
[18:35] You say, "If he's held still, aye. I saw him a bit before the Fists erupted."
[18:35] Miskton says, "Let's see... unfortunately, among the visions that are still occurring, one is that in which Pelag ai Aldam appears, his hands dripping with blood. If the disastrous visions were his doing he may have been stopped there, but he may still have some tricks to pull."
[18:35] Wierdwood says, "I haven't been back to the Heritage House in some time."
[18:36] Levinas calmly says, "I can watch over the tower in Forfedhdar."
[18:36] Levinas calmly says, "We're all usually in through Rolagi frequently."
[18:36] Wierdwood says, "I have seen him just often enough to dislike seeing him in a vision as well."
[18:37] Wierdwood says, "But it may just be a reminder he is waiting for those who walk by him."
[18:37] Miskton says, "I'm sure he's even angrier than ever, now."
[18:39] Miskton says, "The vision of the banquet table filled with rotting food, swarmed by shrews, continues to be seen, as well. If the shrews do represent the Children of Kalestraum, I suppose that's not too surprising. They're likely always plotting something."
[18:40] Miskton says, "There's at least one vision being seen still that doesn't feel very ominous, though."
[18:40] Wierdwood says, "I'd wager if they ceased plotting they'd have little to do and simply dissolve."
[18:40] Miskton says, "I found myself standing on a barren plain, the land dead and desolate as an oppressive sun loomed above. Something brushed my leg and I glanced down to find a serpent twining itself between my legs. It appeared to be molting, as pale skin covered its body and blinded its eyes. As it rubbed against me, a few flecks of skin broke off revealing brilliant purple scales beneath."
[18:41] Miskton says, "My thoughts are that this vision indicates something happening with the Prophets of G'nar Peth, or perhaps a particular Pethian. A rebirth of some sort."
[18:42] Wierdwood says, "I haven't ever considered it quite that way. That certainly does change the aspect of the vision."
[18:44] Miskton says, "The barren plain isn't pleasant looking, but the G'nar Pethians do have a connection to the Blasted Plains. I can't recall the name of the site out there off the top of my head, though."
[18:46] Miskton says, "Let's see..."
[18:46] Miskton says, "I've stopped seeing the visions of tympanum in Catherine's Court, and the constellation of the Archer, though I'm not aware of any recent events that seem to have been tied to either of those."
[18:47] Miskton asks, "Can anyone think of anything, or is anyone still seeing those visions?"
[18:47] You say, "I haven't in awhile either."
[18:48] Miskton says, "Worth keeping an eye out for, I suppose... I'm still interested in reading that book on saints, too. I hope it gets published soon."
[18:50] Miskton says, "Let's see... there's one more vision I have to talk about. It's stopped being seen since the end of the Akul'tiz invasion, but my thoughts on exactly what it meant have changed a bit since the last festival, and finding out about the nature of thornweave fabric."
[18:50] Miskton says, "Leaves rustled in the darkness, and my eye found a towering bush, backlit by a feeble light. Its woody, purple-black stems were laced with green veining which radiated outward from long, thin thorns."
[18:50] Miskton says, "Barely visible among the plant s large incarnadine blossoms was the lifeless body of a gypsy marauder, skewered on a stake-like thorn."
[18:50] Miskton says, "Leaves rustled again as a newcomer was brought, this one a squealing Human, and impaled next to the gypsy."
[18:51] Cristalyn softly says, "It was thought this referenced Theren."
[18:51] Miskton says, "Well, it likely occurred in Theren somewhere."
[18:51] Miskton says, "And I think it represents how the Akul'tiz got their hands on the thornweave some of them were seen wearing."
[18:52] Miskton says, "I hope that the fabric which showed up at the recent festival was prepared in some other manner."
[18:53] Miskton says, "Okay, I believe that's all I've got at the moment, but if anybody has anything they'd like to speak about, or any questions to ask, please feel free."
[18:54] You say to Miskton, "Nothing comes to mind presently. Thank you for bringing us together tonight."
[18:55] Miskton says, "My pleasure, as always."
[18:55] Cristalyn softly says, "I will be off..I believe I'm being summoned north."
[18:55] Cristalyn softly says, "A pleasure to see you all again."
