Re: Visions Meeting Friday the 28th on 03/28/2014 10:13 PM CDT
Here is a record of this evening's meeting.
[18:01] Miskton says, "Welcome."
[18:02] Miskton says, "Okay, I think we can begin. Thank you all for coming."
[18:03] Miskton says, "I think this meeting may be somewhat short, as there doesn't appear to be much that has changed in the web of fate recently. There are a few older visions that are making themselves frequently known, though, and I think it may be worth addressing them."
[18:04] Miskton says, "Let's see, I think I'll start with this one."
[18:04] Miskton says, "First spotted in the year 406, faded out of prominence for some time, but is now being seen again with some frequency."
[18:04] Miskton says, "An elderly but remarkably well aged man strode through darkness. Every step, every gesture, every motion he made was done with conviction and accompanied by swirls of crimson."
[18:04] Miskton says, "A pair of massive bronze doors stood in his path, but they smoothly swung open at his approach. Eventually, he reached a long marble table lit by an unseen light and ringed by a wide assortment of people, all finely dressed. Most seemed unnerved by the man s approach, though several were visibly pleased."
[18:05] Miskton says, "Only as the man stepped into the light did I notice the disfiguring scars that marred the man s face. He placed his right hand on the table, for his left sleeve hung empty, and gazed at the crowd in euphoria, "Let us begin."
[18:06] Arandrowse softly asks, "Didn't that come and seem to herald the problems with the Elpalzi uprising against well themselves and Zoluren?"
[18:06] Redeth quietly says, "The timing, yes."
[18:06] Miskton says, "It was not long before, yes."
[18:07] Miskton says, "There was some thought at the time that the man might be Veyne, but I've since been informed that it was Veyne's right arm that was skeletonized, not his left."
[18:07] Arandrowse asks, "Then perhaps they are about to move against us again in force?"
[18:08] Redeth quietly says, "I had heard there were some references regarding Throne City in this vision as well though I can't recall what."
[18:08] Tiwany says, "Could be like dream reversal, where everything is backwards or upside down in your dreams."
[18:08] Taommi asks, "Perhaps it is a mirror image of him?"
[18:08] Taommi says, "Like that..."
[18:09] Miskton says, "It's a possibility, yes, but barring other evidence I'd lean toward that initial thought about his identity being mistaken."
[18:09] Miskton says to Redeth, "And the doors strike me as somewhat familiar, but I can't place them for certain."
[18:10] Traim asks, "Anyone for an engineering class?"
[18:10] Traim says to Miskton, "Apologies for being late."
[18:10] Rifkinn says to Traim, "Please."
[18:11] Miskton says, "Whoever it is, he's clearly self-confident, and makes other people worried. There's plenty of people that could be, though."
[18:11] Redeth quietly says, "His self confidence seems to border on the...zealous. I would ask the Clerics."
[18:11] Miskton says, "The scars and the missing arm seem like they should make him more identifiable... but those may be injuries that haven't happened yet."
[18:11] Redeth quietly says, "Only deities can engender such rabid devotion."
[18:12] Gemrardi says, "I have nothing to offer, nothing of this remembrance leads me to feel familiar with it."
[18:12] Gemrardi says, "Nor does it somehow seem clerical..."
[18:13] Miskton says, "His crimson clothing could be another clue."
[18:13] Liurilias says, "I'm not sure I care for strong devotion being linked to being rabid, however."
[18:13] Liurilias says to Gemrardi, "And I can't think of any of our brothers who are disfigured and missing an arm either."
[18:14] Lasciel says, "Evro."
[18:14] Redeth quietly says, "He is not prone to beautific smiles."
[18:14] Gemrardi asks Lasciel, "Evro is not missing either arm?"
[18:14] Lasciel says, "Deranged is like disfigured."
[18:15] Vino says, "Again, though, they may be injuries not yet suffered."
[18:15] Arandrowse says, "But this is a reoccuring vision, one that had a LONG gap between."
[18:15] Liurilias says to Vino, "Interesting point."
[18:16] Traim says, "It is the crimson to his footsteps that matters most in my eyes."
[18:16] Lazzo quietly asks, "What kind of injuries?"
[18:16] Traim says, "As crimson and shadow appear prominently in important other visions."
[18:16] Miskton says, "A missing left arm, and scars on his face."
[18:16] Arandrowse asks Traim, "Such as?"
[18:17] Rifkinn asks, "Isnt Crimson reserved for Royalty?"
[18:17] Rifkinn says, "OR not Crimson exactly...."
[18:17] Gemrardi asks, "I thought Royalty was royal purple?"
[18:17] Rifkinn says, "So maybe hes not exactly... Royalty."
[18:17] Arandrowse quietly says, "Lotsa stargazing."
[18:18] Traim says, "The immediate crimson and shadow connection that came to mind were the visions of the attack on Kssarh. And the crimson and shadow destroying the 5, then 6, towers."
[18:18] Traim says, "If I remember correctly."
[18:18] Arandrowse says, "That sounds correct, and that had to do with the Akul'tiz and the failout and such>."
[18:18] Taommi says, "Ahem."
[18:18] Miskton says, "Or the red-veined darkness that oozed down a stairway that looked much like the one at the palace in Throne City."
[18:19] Lazzo quietly asks, "Any strong beliefs or faintest clues on the reason behind this events including this attack on Moon Mage Guildleader?"
[18:19] Tiwany says, "He's kind of mean to me."
[18:19] Gemrardi asks, "Sorry I most be to indepth to my Temple Guarding, there was a Moon Mage leader attacked?"
[18:20] Lasciel says, "Some guy glanced at Traim one time also."
[18:20] Miskton says to Lazzo, "Much of that was related, we believe, to the assault planned by Pelag ai Aldam. Thankfully his plans seem to have disrupted, and mostly it has not come to pass."
[18:20] Lasciel says, "Indeed."
[18:20] Gemrardi says, "Ahhh well that goes back about a year or more and such."
[18:20] Lazzo calmly asks Miskton, "May this be related to the recent invasions as well?"
[18:21] Redeth quietly says, "The orcs and the Elpazi are not known to have joined forces."
[18:21] Miskton asks, "Are you referring to invasion by some group in particular?"
[18:21] Lazzo quietly says, "The one by the Elpazi as Redeth mentioned."
[18:22] Taommi says, "Orks and Elpalzi, what an alliance..."
[18:22] Miskton says, "Most of those visions seem to have been related to events surrounding the Akul'tiz, and largely ceased once their plans were disrupted."
[18:22] Arandrowse says, "They want land and power, that were promised to their ancestors."
[18:22] Redeth quietly says, "Their goals are known, yes. Not their current actions to realize those goals, however."
[18:22] Lazzo quietly says, "Attacking the moon mage leader would cause a lapse on the ways everything is put together, by hurting the hearth of the moon mage guild, the Elpazi could profit highly from it in my point of view."
[18:23] Arandrowse says, "Well that is what the rebel faction wants, the regulars still want peace, and continued alliance to Zoluren."
[18:23] Lazzo quietly says, "That alone is the only reason I questioned about."
[18:23] Traim says, "It is not an attack on a leader. It is an attack on the guild. Pelag was not ambiguous in this."
[18:23] Traim says, "And I, at least, do not believe it is anything close to over."
[18:23] Tiwany says, "Also taking out the seers of the future would keep the future from being known. If someone wanted to hide future events."
[18:23] Miskton says, "Oh, he's not done yet, I'm sure. But his first attempt failed."
[18:25] Lazzo quietly asks, "And what are our measures to prevent this attacks until we know for sure what this is about?"
[18:26] Lasciel says, "Yeah, Miskton."
[18:26] Lasciel asks, "What are you going to do about it?"
[18:26] Traim says, "Tiv took measures."
[18:26] Redeth quietly says, "It is my opinion that nothing happened to Tiv that Tiv had not planned out. Moon Mages have ever been proud of finding the pebble that will turn aside the flood decades later."
[18:26] Traim says, "Tiv risked everything."
[18:26] Miskton says, "Officially? Trust Taramaine to protect us, I'm told."
[18:26] Traim says, "Whether that's enough, we don't know."
[18:27] Miskton says, "Tiv had a plan, I'm sure. I don't think it was possible to account for the consequences of it, though."
[18:27] Lasciel says, "Any action seems futile in the face of such evil."
[18:28] Traim says, "Well put, perfectly well put."
[18:28] Traim says, "It's exactly the inability to account for his actions that make them potentially outside Pelag's control."
[18:28] Traim says, "There are two ways, in play, to escape whatever Pelag thinks is inevitable."
[18:29] Traim says, "The first, the Arbiter's influence. Tiv."
[18:29] Traim says, "The second, Karosti's influence."
[18:29] Traim says, "That is how I read what we have seen."
[18:29] Traim says, "For my limited part."
[18:29] Miskton says, "I hope, for all our sakes, that it doesn't come down to the latter being necessary."
[18:30] Skaen says, "The latter more or less amounts to same outcome."
[18:31] Miskton says, "The fact that the Arbiter seems to disapprove of Pelag's actions is somewhat heartening, but I think it's also dangerous to try to read too much into that. The Arbiter's not a mind as we're used to them, after all."
[18:31] Traim says to Skaen, "I disagree. The latter may have a worse outcome. Pelag may destroy the guild. If the worst of Karosti's actions is accurate, he may destroy prophecy. If not more."
[18:32] Lasciel says, "If we didn't have to learn astrology any more that wouldn't be so bad."
[18:32] Lazzo curtly asks Traim, "Did you have a vision?"
[18:33] Skaen says, "Both would like to destroy the guild, and slay the guildmembers, anyone left standing after Karosti would be corruputed teleologically if not worse."
[18:33] Skaen says, "Spared the depradations of one madman to suffer the predations of another is not rescue."
[18:34] Skaen says, "Or mad thing, as the case may be."
[18:34] Lazzo quietly says, "It would be nice hearing the reports of such visions and perhaps decipher it's message before everyone does false assumptions. It's in every guild's loss losing moon mages."
[18:34] Traim says to Lazzo, "Fair enough."
[18:35] Skaen says to Lazzo, "What false assumptions have been made, aside from an Elpalzi connection? I arrived late."
[18:36] Traim asks Miskton, "Will you do me a favor, old friend, and correct me if my remembrance of these three is wrong?"
[18:36] Miskton says, "There is a vision that seems to indicate Karosti is planning to take action. The results of those actions can be inferred from his history. I was going to continue with some of the older visions, but we can touch on that one."
[18:37] Traim says, "Ah, continue, sorry. You know the pattern better."
[18:37] Miskton says, "An elderly Elf, angular of face with silver-flecked eyes, gazed out over a forest landscape. His vision seemed locked on a distant mountain peak. "I will need to answer this, you know. They won't. They lack the resolve."
[18:37] Miskton says, "A quiet voice behind me replied, "They'll blame us. They've never understood, even the few who try."
[18:37] Miskton says, ""Let them. It changes nothing."
[18:38] Taommi asks, "Isn't there some Leth Deriel elf supremacist active after decades, could it be him?"
[18:39] Gemrardi asks Taommi, "Ahh what?"
[18:39] Skaen says, "The description fits Karosti perfectly."
[18:39] You say to Taommi, "Nae, Ralel has different features."
[18:39] Redeth quietly asks, "The keep being the Reach?"
[18:39] Miskton says, "It's generally hard to specifically identify a person through their appearance in a vision, but those features that can be made out are usually accurate."
[18:40] Arandrowse says, "Definitely seems to be someone that believes their ideology is right, and won't be supported by others."
[18:41] Arandrowse says, "Seems to be referencing the Mountain Elves, and I'd guess the duo is Forest Elf in nature, suggesting Leth Deriel."
[18:41] Lasciel says, "It's the guy Miskton says it is."
[18:41] Miskton says, "Then there's the other recent vision, which could be a result of actions by Pelag or Karosti... either one would probably enjoy the outcome, whether as a direct intention or simply a byproduct of attacking each other."
[18:41] Digmo says, "Evenin all."
[18:41] Lasciel says, "I saw him once when they stole the thing from the Obelisk."
[18:41] Miskton says, "Five towers of light sprang into being about me. They were aglow with chilly starlight, solid and seemingly eternal. Yet as I watched, fissures, dark as the void, spiderwebbed through each of them, causing one to explode in a shower of searing fragments."
[18:41] Miskton says, "The remainder resisted. For a time. Until the top of another tower imploded, leaving naught but a ragged stump behind."
[18:41] Skaen says, "The Children of Kalestraum have long claimed the forests of Leth Deriel as their demesne."
[18:42] Artamyys says, "Hello everyone."
[18:42] Miskton says, "The remaining three continued to struggle, though the fissures were now a vast network of absolute darkness, until, they too, could stand no more and crumbled into motes of dying light."
[18:42] Arandrowse says, "Reminds me of some of those visions up around the Hollow Eve Festival."
[18:42] Traim says, "Notably, that one was seen before with six towers, before the Crystal Hand fell. Now it comes again, as five towers. But the outcome remains the same."
[18:43] Traim quietly says, "The towers continue to fall."
[18:43] Taommi asks, ""But are they?"
[18:43] Tiwany asks, "Are they falling at a constant rate?"
[18:44] Tiwany says, "If so you can perhaps predict when the last tower will fall."
[18:44] Redeth quietly says, "Only one has fallen. It would take three to fall to tell if they were obeying some timed pattern."
[18:44] Tiwany says, "Ahh."
[18:45] Miskton says, "And after the first fell, Tiv made his sacrifice, which I believe has disrupted Pelag's plans. But that doesn't mean he's done."
[18:47] Miskton says, "Let's see... that covers much of what has been recently seen, but there was one more older vision that I've been seeing again with some frequency, which I thought might be good to bring up again."
[18:47] Miskton says, "A middle aged Elothean stood before a horde of faceless foes. Though she tried to fend them off with staff and shadow, one eventually pierced her defenses and at the first touch of the blade she simply turned to shadow and melted away."
[18:47] Miskton says, "The scene changed and I found myself watching the same woman, apparently unharmed, but also seemingly unaware that a crow perched on each of her shoulders."
[18:48] Miskton says, "This one caused quite a bit of discussion when it first appeared, but there wasn't much in the way of consensus about it."
[18:48] Skaen says, "Apparently it isn't Niloa."
[18:50] Lasciel says, "Contingency and crows."
[18:50] Lasciel says, "What does it mean."
[18:50] Skaen says, "Or a skilled illusionist."
[18:50] Gemrardi asks, "As far as when, I've never heard, or I don't think I've heard of that vision before when was it?"
[18:50] Miskton says, "I first saw it back in 408."
[18:51] Arandrowse asks Skaen, "Not Niloa?"
[18:51] Arandrowse asks, "So somewhat close to the crimson one armed man?"
[18:51] Skaen says, "Traim inquired what weapons she favored."
[18:52] Lasciel says, "Maybe she was backtraining."
[18:52] Miskton says, "It was some time afterwards, appearing with a number of other changes in the web of fate."
[18:52] Traim says, "Daggers, I think, in case you were wondering."
[18:52] Gemrardi asks, "Yes the crimson one armed man, who walks through big bronze doors?"
[18:53] Lasciel says, "I had a vision about Marssi."
[18:53] Lasciel says, "She was in a meadow."
[18:53] Taommi says, "Ahem."
[18:53] Lasciel says, "There was a unicorn and she healed it."
[18:53] Skaen asks, "Crows are a sign of Kertigen?"
[18:53] Taommi says, "Sorry something got in my eye and throat... and ahh stuff like that."
[18:53] Lasciel asks, "A crow is a raven?"
[18:54] Lasciel says, "I don't think so."
[18:54] Gemrardi says, "No crows are not ravens, like goats aren't cows."
[18:54] Lasciel says, "A crow is some other god probably."
[18:54] Vino says, "Ravens and crows are similar. Ravens tend to be much larger, though."
[18:54] Miskton says, "This vision seems like one that may not be useful until the events involved are upon us. It may be helpful then if connections can be made quickly enough, though."
[18:54] Lasciel says, "There's like 40 of them."
[18:54] Gemrardi says, "Nor lions are panthers."
[18:54] Liurilias says, "Crows are related to one of the Rakash gods."
[18:54] Liurilias says, "I think."
[18:54] Lasciel says, "Who can keep track."
[18:55] Miskton says, "Mrod, I think."
[18:55] Liurilias says, "That one, yes."
[18:55] Lasciel asks, "Isn't that the same as Meraud?"
[18:55] Traim says, "I suspect the crow symbolism in that one is akin to a family crest, or something of that nature. But I have no defensible explanation for that feeling."
[18:56] Gemrardi says, "Somewhat, but also somewhat Radically different."
[18:56] Redeth quietly says, "A carrion bird perches on the shoulders of a Moon Mage who appears to have been resurrected."
[18:56] Skaen says, "Crows on both shoulders does suggest meaning."
[18:56] Traim says, "I thought then, and I think now, that that vision reflects a threat to the Tower here in Shard."
[18:57] Traim says, "But again, I have no defensible reason for that belief that I can articulate."
[18:57] Traim says, "Other than the recent appearance of twins in the court."
[18:57] Traim says, "But, from all reports, both have been above reproach."
[18:57] Lasciel says, "I wonder if that Crowther family is related."
[18:57] Lazzo quietly says, "Good question indeed."
[18:58] Lasciel says, "I think they all died."
[18:58] Skaen asks, "Crows?"
[18:58] Lazzo quietly asks, "We are basing everything off thoughts, are we?"
[18:59] Traim asks, "As opposed to empirical evidence?"
[18:59] Traim says, "Tough to gather on future events."
[18:59] Miskton says, "I believe at least one of the Crowthers is still alive, and the Tezirites do have a presence here in Shard."
[19:00] Lasciel says, "Genius."
[19:00] Skaen says, "Erzebet and Annisean are both still alive."
[19:00] Skaen says, "And more likely many more Crowthers."
[19:00] Lasciel says, "She's like 100."
[19:00] Skaen says, "They are very hard to kill."
[19:00] Lasciel says, "How is she still alive."
[19:00] Lasciel says, "Humans are supposed to eventually die."
[19:00] Traim asks Lasciel, "How is a Crowther alive past 100?"
[19:01] Miskton says, "We humans don't all fall to dust that quickly."
[19:01] Lazzo quietly says, "Empaths do a very good job shifting, is my guess."
[19:01] Traim says, "You know better than that."
[19:01] Lasciel says, "Oh well."
[19:01] Lasciel says, "She's just old."
[19:01] Renucci says, "Age is only skin deep."
[19:02] Lazzo quietly says, "Well then perhaps they learned how to clean the aged signs and along with that, the aged of their inside bodies."
[19:02] Traim says, "The exposure to empathy, in the natural course of our lives, extends us beyond what the normal folks would see in a life anyhow."
[19:02] Traim says, "I imagine the Crowthers have resources even beyond that."
[19:02] Traim asks, "Are there crows or ravens in the tezirite lore?"
[19:02] Miskton says, "I'm not sure if there's any particular symbolic link between the Crowthers and actually crows, though."
[19:02] Lasciel says, "I made one."
[19:02] Lasciel says, "Based on the name."
[19:03] Traim says, "That would figure, wouldn't it? If it was that literal."
[19:03] Miskton says, "If the web of fate starts going in for puns, I fear moon mages will soon be more insane than is already the case."
[19:03] Lazzo quietly says, "The name may be able to resemble not the features of a Crow, but the behaviour of one."
[19:03] Renucci says to Traim, "Bats not Crows."
[19:04] Renucci says, "Bats Rather."
[19:04] Tiwany says, "Could be right now she is marked."
[19:04] Miskton says, "But yes, there could be reasons that do relate them."
[19:04] Lasciel slowly says, "Crow-ther."
[19:05] Lazzo quietly says, "I believe the intention on the ‘ther’ is from Brothers-Crowthers."
[19:05] Lasciel says, "I'm closing the book on this vision."
[19:05] Lasciel says, "Solved."
[19:06] Miskton asks, "Okay then! Were there any other points people felt like discussing, or going back to anything already brought up?"
[19:06] Skaen says, "If you want to get technical Erzebet is probably closer to two hundred than one."
[19:06] Lasciel says, "I can tell you more about that vision I had of Marssi."
[19:06] Skaen asks, "Has anyone heard any news of Tiv's recovery or lack thereof?"
[19:06] Traim says, "No, no more Marssi visions."
[19:07] Traim says to Skaen, "No."
[19:07] Rifkinn says, "Ide like to hear about Marssi visions."
[19:07] Renucci says, "I've not heard anyting since We dropped him off in Haven."
[19:07] Lasciel says, "We should send him a card."
[19:08] Lasciel says, "A get well card."
[19:08] Marcul says, "Many thanks."
[19:09] Miskton says, "I did have one more thing to bring up, in case anyone finds it interesting, though it's not related to visions."
[19:09] Traim says, "I have a question about an older vision too, but it can wait for folks just lingering."
[19:10] Miskton says, "I don't know how many of you may have been out to the Temple of Serenity on Wyvern Mountain, but I think it's worth a trip, if you can handle the wyverns, or run through quickly enough to avoid getting eaten."
[19:10] Lasciel asks, "What's that all about?"
[19:10] Skaen says, "Or cast whole displacement and avoid them altogether."
[19:10] Miskton says, "I'm not sure I'm the best person to actually explain the process, but I've found their tyura circle ritual to be rather relaxing, and not a bad way to focus the mind."
[19:11] Arandrowse says, "Skaen got me a moon gate in there a bit ago.... beautiful place... very different and odd location."
[19:11] Lasciel says, "Circle ritual..."
[19:11] Lasciel says, "Sounds lame."
[19:11] Miskton says, "If you head out there, I'm sure Niloa can provide better insight into their philosophy, but I can demonstrate."
[19:11] Lasciel says, "Some kind of cult."
[19:11] Lasciel asks, "Um, anybody ever go out to that Trabe plateau?"
[19:11] Skaen says, "Sounds like a cult."
[19:11] Lasciel says, "Over Dor'na'torna."
[19:11] Lasciel says, "I think that way."
[19:11] Redeth quietly says, "I've been there, yes."
[19:12] Lasciel says, "There's this sealed arch."
[19:12] Miskton says, "Or perhaps I can't demonstrate just now."
[19:12] Lasciel says, "With a magic symbol on it."
[19:12] Lasciel asks, "What is that?"
[19:12] Lasciel asks, "Some kind of monster in there?"
[19:12] Renucci says, "Other than Me no."
[19:12] Lasciel says, "Hm."
[19:12] Lasciel says, "It has transduction magic in it."
[19:12] Lasciel says, "And something else."
[19:12] Skaen asks, "Perhaps Mistanna could show us the tyura meditation?"
[19:13] Lasciel says, "I don't like the looks of this already."
[19:14] Skaen says, "Make sure and look at the circle."
[19:14] Lasciel says, "Salty."
[19:14] Skaen says, "She'll destroy it as soon as she finishes."
(Mistanna performs a tyura circle.)
[19:14] You say, "I poured out designs of three different colors, I am nae sure if they matter..."
[19:14] Skaen says, "A web. Appropriate."
[19:15] Lasciel says, "..."
[19:15] Lasciel says, "Oh yeah that seemed worth it."
[19:15] Locistone asks, "What is it for?"
[19:16] Vino says to Locistone, "It's just a form of meditation."
[19:16] Traim says to Lasciel, "It is. For the purposes of focus."
[19:16] Lasciel says, "Seems like necromancy to me."
[19:16] Lasciel says, "And I'd know."
[19:16] You say to Lasciel, "That is just silly."
[19:16] Vino says, "There is no magic to it."
[19:16] Lasciel says, "Yeah like some ritual."
[19:16] Vino says, "It's just a way of connecting with oneself."
[19:16] Lasciel says, "Like a necro would do."
[19:17] Skaen says, "I think there is a bit of magic involved."
[19:17] You say to Lasciel, "You've been nothing but disruptive."
[19:17] Lasciel asks, "Is she in fact wearing a belt knife?"
[19:17] Arandrowse says, "I'm not the most adriot magical understanding Ranger around, believe me just ask Kalika, she'd be sure to shake her head..."
[19:17] Lasciel says, "Crow-ther."
[19:17] Arandrowse says, "But that doesn't seem at all Necromantic."
[19:17] Lasciel says, "That was a valuable insight."
[19:17] Lazzo quietly asks Lasciel, "Isn't a vial and kneeling pouring on the floor a little bit too soft to be compared to their rituals?"
[19:17] Redeth quietly says, "I often want to punch Lasciel until she stops twitching. I think that's why I enjoy her presence."
[19:17] Skaen asks Traim, "What was the vision you wished to discuss?"
[19:18] Vino says, "I doubt there would be imagery in a vision that was specific to one language."
[19:18] Gemrardi says, "Ahh sorry folks but that seems inviting..."
[19:18] Gemrardi says, "Then the moongate collapses... maybe not so inviting."
[19:18] Lasciel says, "I don't trust strange rituals."
[19:18] Traim says, "The vision I had questions about related to the silvery towers. If I remember correctly...."
"A field of silvery-blue towers stands before you, their upper levels interconnected by shimmering filaments. Amidst them is a single spire of obsidian, alike but apart."
"Without warning or sound, a bolt of red and shadow sears into a silvery-blue tower, disintegrating a large portion and toppling the remaining towers with the shrapnel."
[19:18] Lazzo quietly says, "I doubt you'd see evilish beings pouring things kneeling down on the floor in front of everybody."
[19:19] Traim says, "I have always read the obsidian tower here as the Children."
[19:19] Lazzo quietly says, "Plus, we all know Mistanna is queen of justice and goodness."
[19:19] Traim says, "But my wonder now, is whether the red and dark bolt comes from them, or elsewhere and is directed at them with us."
[19:19] Lasciel says, "Self-righteousness maybe."
[19:19] Traim says, "Lasciel. Stop it."
[19:19] Traim says, "Or I'll pass your head to Mortom."
[19:20] Lasciel says, "I'd like to see you try."
(Traim closes to melee on Lasciel and then glares at her, unable to attack.)
[19:20] Rifkinn asks, "Why the connection with the tower and the children?"
[19:20] Rifkinn asks Traim, "Or am i misreading what you ment?"
[19:20] Skaen says to Rifkinn, "Other visions we've had suggest as much."
[19:20] Rifkinn exclaims, "Ah!"
[19:20] Lasciel says, "Know your surroundings and whatnot."
[19:20] Traim says, "Yes, because I won't find you."
[19:20] Traim says, "Wise choice."
[19:20] Lasciel says, "I guarantee you won't."
[19:21] Marcul says, "Should it not be noted that the three colors of the moons represented in the vision? Silvery blue towers, attacked by the two other colors of moonlight."
[19:21] Marcul says, "It could be as simple as the constant struggle of moons to outshine the others."
[19:21] Skaen says, "Or insurrection."
[19:21] Arandrowse says, "Hadn't noticed that, of course I am also starting to feel very tired, long day..."
[19:21] Traim says, "Could be."
[19:22] Traim says, "The reason it matters, I think, is because it would be exceptionally important to know whether the obsidian tower is the source of that attack."
[19:22] Traim says, "Or the subject of it, with us."
[19:22] Lazzo quietly asks, "Well that escalated rather quickly, where were you Traim with your talk of the dark bolt?"
[19:23] Miskton says, "That particular vision is one that I'm a bit suspicious of, given its appearance with a number of others that suddenly vanished after Tiv and the Arbiter disrupted Pelag's plans."
[19:23] Traim says, "That's all, what I said before."
[19:23] Traim says, "I place less importance on the timing of what appears to be visions showing then going away."
[19:24] Arandrowse says, "Thank you for the meeting, sorry I have to find a shadow and sleep."
[19:24] Renucci says, "Could Necro's be working on something to manipulate the Planes."
[19:24] Miskton says, "I'm not sure if they were things that were going to be, or just things that Pelag wanted us to think we're going to be."
[19:24] You say to Miskton, "I don't really like the idea of the latter as much."
[19:24] Skaen says, "The paths have shifted, with Tiv's unlikely return and with it, the future."
[19:25] Traim says, "Perhaps. And I hope you're right, Miskton."
[19:25] Traim says, "I think the effects of Tiv's gamble are yet to be seen. I am not ready to call it a success, on any level, other than he's alive."
[19:25] Lazzo quietly says, "I like Miskom thoughts on this. Make sense to me, at least."
[19:25] Renucci says, "Well his storybook was stolen, then he was what I assume caught in the Grey's of the Planes."
[19:26] Miskton says, "My hope is that if Pelag was interfering with our connection to the Plane of Probability, that's part of what led the Arbiter to move against him. And hopefully shut down that avenue of attack."
[19:26] Renucci says, "All related to the Children."
[19:28] Skaen asks, "Anything else to discuss that affects our guild?"
[19:28] Traim says, "It seems to me that the Arbiter providing Tiv with perfect sight is the way of evening the odds, I agree."
[19:28] Traim says, "But all of this, whether you agree with me that there is a war on, or not..."
[19:29] Traim says, "Means we need to be vigilant. We need to be watching. And we need to be unified."
[19:29] Skaen says, "I'm not sure if that was explicitly intended. I think it was more of a side effect of his extended stay."
[19:29] Rifkinn asks, "With all the mention of the Children relating to some visions, has anything been heard from them at all?"
[19:29] Traim says to Skaen, "An interesting theory. I'd hear more on that."
[19:29] Traim asks, "But before I forget, Mistanna, will you let them know about the Conclave?"
[19:30] Redeth quietly says, "Thank you for the revelation. I need to start...herding people for my own meeting."
[19:30] Miskton says to Rifkinn, "Not since the incident out on Taisgath, I think."
[19:30] You say, "There might well be another Visions Meeting before then, depending on the Fates..."
[19:31] Traim says, "Likely, so we can talk about it twice."
[19:31] Traim says, "We're having a Conclave for all moon mages, some weeks away still."
[19:31] You say, "But probably in the summer there will be a large conclave of moonmages, any over their 5th circle will be invited to attend."
[19:31] Skaen asks, "The last great Conclave was what 19 or 20 years ago?"
[19:31] Traim says, "Important. At the Stardome."
[19:32] Traim says, "It's been a long time."
[19:32] You exclaim, "We've a few different topics for discussion planned, Trivia, games, a raffle... as well as lots of gifts and food!"
[19:32] Skaen says, "And to miss it will be one of your great regrets."
[19:32] Renucci exclaims, "Games!"
[19:32] Renucci exclaims, "I love Games!"
[19:32] The black leopard growls, "Gaethrend's Court, Crossing. Provided there is more than you or I there."
[19:33] You say, "There will be a pre-party in Throne City before the lot of us head to the Stardome by portal too."
[19:33] Traim says, "Friends, I have to travel as well. Business in the north."
[19:33] Renucci says, "Travel Safe."
[19:33] Traim says to Miskton, "Thank you for tolerating my occasional disagreement and ranting."
[19:33] You say to Miskton, "Thank you for leading the discussions today."
[19:33] Traim quietly says, "I believe we are at war."
[19:33] Miskton exclaims, "Of course!"
[19:35] Miskton exclaims, "And with that, I believe we can wrap things up. Thank you all for coming!"
