i think it would be great if somehow we could see our own prediction counter. After all, as a character we'd know how many predictions we've done.

Really? Your character knows how many predictions they've done?

How many goblins have they killed? Vines braided? Spells cast?

Or to use some RL comparisons - how many math problems have you solved? How many times have you filled up your gas?

I see your point, and yet on the other hand, if I got an award for every 1000 math problems I solved, you can bet I would know how many I've done.

There are ways to add counters in scripts to track just those sorts of things. I wish I'd done that for predictions from the very day I rolled up my moonmage, I'd love to know how many I've done. I have done it with the combat script I use so I have a counter going for the total # of kills in general.

I think some sort of general indicator might be nice. You might not know how many predictions precisely (or math problems), but you'd at least have a ballpark idea I'd think.

I think it would be nice if we knew exactly... purely on an OOC level. The same way we know if our characters have 963.45 ranks of Astrology, etc. But I can also see how mystery is nice too.

I just wish now that I'd put a counter in for my predictions at the start...

I personally have nothing against a general sense of how many predictions you've done (Since the astro skill dies NOT really represent it for a number of reasons we all know), I was just pointing out the flaw in the particular argument presented.

However such a request should go through Bursaal. I'm just here on loan for title stuffs.

I don't have any objection to some way to see your prediction counter, but we'll need to come up with some reasonable and scalable method.

How about something similar to EXP RP?

0 - 100 insignificant
101 -200 lowly beginner
etc up to 1000
1001 - 1500 middling
1501 - 2000 quite a few
etc

What is the average number of predictions you are seeing per character now?

Highest?

I know that I have to be hitting, quite possibly, over 2000 predictions as it is. I've worn out several platinums worth of bones and mirrors as it is.

may i suggest?

Traders have a ledger in which it tells them how many times they have visited certain outposts. perhaps some sort of scroll or book a moonmage could keep on them that would give them thrit ptediction information?

Should have RT equal to your prediction counter. That way you can just look at the roundtime and know how many predictions you have.

Roundtime: 52447
