While Id love this to be the case, it may not be so simple. For all we know, a familiar may be a very different object from that of a standard creature, or it may be that a familiar placed into sleep mode might become a static object and as Melete mentioned in an earlier post all but static objects are removed. That said, we already have a comment from Armifer saying that if there is something that can be done, we will see that done with Risen.

Familiars are a distinctly different form of object than creatures are. And one of the oldest pieces of code left in DR to this day.
I'll look into it as I get some time to do so, but don't expect a quick turn around on this one.

a thread about zombies, and your character is not forsaken. Right. Like markhat says, "Feh".

Oh and last one, DR at any given time has a population of weenies that will criticize at the drop of a hat, don't take things personally it happens to everyone.

>If you tell them to sleep they just stay there for days like they're part of the furniture.
I remember there was once a baby raccoon asleep in the Main Room in the Empath's Guild that was there for WEEKS.
>I know treasure map boxes stick around forever
Are those those gold-plated chests I find in strange places like outside the croc marshes, outside barghests, and outside the Shard tanner that can't be DISMANTLEd? Those are annoying. Please clean up your litter.
