So, as a director of the Trials, I've tried to be very open to the Necro community. I make it a point to let people know that all guilds are welcome and politics are not. For me, Wyverns is more than just fight night, its about getting more people involved in pvp as a whole. That being said, we are having a much better turn out of necros lately and that's awesome.
So, being that my necro isnt one of my really serious characters, I'll ask... If I provide a um... Body for you to heal with... How much will that help? Or is it just more of a convenience? I usually have either my empath or cleric there for triage help for others, but I'm aware necros are kind of on thier own program. Is it more efficient for you to run off and eat some goblins real quick or would providing a body buffet for you be beneficial? I'd probably be able to do like one... Erm body, but can more than one necro eat on it or does each "use" take the parts you need to heal up?
Odd question I know, but I'm trying to be helpful lol

Generous thought. As others have said with the way Necromatic healing works - especially for 'outted/profane' Necros it won't be worth the hassle. If we're knocked down we're smoked - which means that we're only challenging for the other guy. The best thing you can do is be aware the Necromancer has to leave to heal. Perhaps communication between the people running Wyverns and the Necromancer using Crystal rings to let the Necro go heal on critters without losing their place or something of the sort.

Sadly, having a corpse on hand wouldn't be all that helpful for the reasons mentioned, though it's a nice thought. I'm not actually sure if it would be kosher to have a corpsemule solely for Necromancer healing either policy-wise, but it'd be nice if a GM could weigh in on it. It also takes a lot of Thanatology to even use Consume on a corpse successfully -- I can't do it at ~350 ranks. A more elegant solution to the healing issue would be a small area off to the side that spawned rats or something for quick healing but that requires way more GM work than anyone likely has time for.
A note for other Necromancers since I've heard some confusion on this again, the Wyvern Trials are apparently completely IC, not the quasi-OOC vegas-rules thing the old cemetery spar nights were. I attended them a few times because regulars and hosts were both under the impression and assured me in kind it was cemetery rules, but officially it's definitely not. I'm still a bit salty about it and I'd rather nobody else make that mistake, since I ended up on at least a couple of lists as a result. vOv

Last time Lyneya and I had A Talk about Wyvern Trial and Necromancers, we decided it's okay from the standpoint of "It will not draw Hounds heat on self or event" for Necromancers to perform as long as they aren't being actively and specifically solicited ICly or at least some level of discretion is maintained. So far things have been okay on this front. The crowd is there for the blood, not the politics.
I've maintained the right to send in the Hounds if it ever becomes Necro Happy Fun Tea Time and Snuggle Hour, though.

So I'll say this then. If you want to go heal up after a fight, and plan on fighting again, let us know so we can plan accordingly.
And Thayet, while it's cool that you want to call it whatever, as a Director I'll say this... The trials end up being "quasi-ooc" as you put it. There is a lot of times people are giving pointers on strategy and game mechanics and such. I can't guarantee someone won't out you or whatever. You can't control another person being OOC about crap. But I can tell you the directors do not tolerate the BS and politics that some characters have attempted to bring with them in the past. I'm not going to say people won't try. Inevitably if there is an event people will try and do their own thing. But I can tell you that from an IC perspective I will not tolerate Inquisitorial shenanigans running off people coming to just spill blood. They can go down the ramp if they want. That being said, I won't allow Necros to freely eat the Inquisitors either. Nor will I tolerate people being blatantly disruptive to the fun we are trying to provide. I've yet to have to call for GM intervention to remove someone, and I've yet to be told I've been doing it wrong. Figure the GMs will handle it on their end if need be.
Wyvern Trials, like any organized spar night is about people having fun with PVP, learning to use mechanics, and everyone having a good time. My personal goal is to get far more people involved in PVP so they aren't so scared about it if/when it happens in the regular game. We just happen to be completely non affiliated with any orders or anything like that so we get to do our own thing, and have a pretty cool area to do it in.
I was glad to see you and so many other Necros there, even if not all of you fought. Observers are welcome as well. It was a good time. And I only hope more will show up.

Eh, it is what it is. I had a couple people actually IM me asking what was up with it after this thread so I wanted to post so people were generally aware of the IC/OOC status of it, that's all -- as it was something I myself and a number of others were misinformed about. Ultimately, people will do what people do either way.
It's a shame I didn't get to fight last time either, but maybe next week. Tourneys are always good fun and I've always enjoyed them. It's a great way to learn how to use your abilities effectively.
