Trying to find some information on epedia about SO and coming up a little short.
Does anyone have any experience (not anecdotal) with Dirge?
Will asking for a balance at the bank cause SO?
Will trying to deposit or exchange coin at the bank increase SO if you are currently denied services elsewhere?
Is there a "rule of thumb" for wait time and decreasing SO?
Where can one rest that will reduce it?
What about resting in unusual justice areas? i.e. Dirge
Thanks!

AFAIK, 'unusual justice' only pertains to Thievery. I don't think (and hope I'm not wrong!) that it relates to SO and I don't believe Necros can be ACCUSED of Necromancy while in an 'unusual justice' zone.
It would be very funny to me to find out I was wrong about this though.
I'm not sure about using the Dirge bank.

So I wonder if that increases SO. In Crossing, I'm sure my character would get charged with a crime for doing as such. (That was from trying to DEPOSIT ALL in the Dirge Bank)

Yes. Vaults are blocked from you in Dirge and other similar justice zones. I didn't try the bank, I assume it's the same. You don't get charged with a new crime, but I believe it is an SO hit all the same. I have not tested the latter thing and I am not inclined to, though you could pop into Test and test it easily enough yourself.

Balance doesn't, deposit and I believe exchange will.
>> Is there a "rule of thumb" for wait time and decreasing SO?
Give it two hours to cool down before trying anything. Check JUSTICE to see if you have a line about people being convinced you're a Necromancer. Note that JUSTICE is evil and will lie to you about when that stops being true; that's why you wait two hours instead of one. This is by design, to make you paranoid.

Anywhere IIRC, but obviously chillin' in Crossing isn't going to do you any favors if someone spots you and accuses you again.

The way Dirge works is Unusual and the Unusual works greatly in our benefit. I assume if Dirge becomes the next Throne City it will also get the Throne City treatment, so I am being scant on details on purpose.
