Hypothetically, if I was AFK scripting last night in TF and my script entered a loop of trying to buy lockpicks, getting arrested, and going to buy lockpicks again... and it did this for hours... how screwed am I?
For fun, this is how that happens:
>release USOL
...wait 1
I think I lost a few thousand in plats. But mostly, I'm concerned about how long the social outrage will last. How long before I can set foot in town again, in theory? Is there a cap on how bad social outrage can get? Does it drain only when I'm logged in? I was thinking of pausing my subscriptions until I can really play again.

>>I think I lost a few thousand in plats
Ouch.
>>Is there a cap on how bad social outrage can get?
AFAIK, there is a cap, based on the following from epedia:
"If you have more than 50% of the maximum possible Social Outrage, you are considered to be one of the Perverse."
https://elanthipedia.play.net/Outrage#Social_Outrage
>>Does it drain only when I'm logged in?
Yes. AFAIK, TF gets a "better" drain than Prime/Plat for DO (since you're essentially able to be on 24/7 so you're able to do a lot more necro things during gameplay), but I'm not sure if that extends for SO as well.
Uzmam! The Chairman will NOT be pleased to know you're trying to build outside of approved zones. I'd hate for you to be charged the taxes needed to have this place re-zoned. Head for the manor if you're feeling creative.

Not to my knowledge. RoC (and RoG with Liturgy) just masks Divine Outrage. I think they help fight against passive suspicion gain or something along those lines, but they won't unring any bells.

Had a bad experience happen and let's just say it was at least a month of avoiding anywhere justice. SO doesn't drain while logged out or not active so it won't help to pause the subscription until it clears.

Should be about a week or so in TF then, which still sucks but isn't that bad (assuming said incident was in Plat or Prime).

>Man, between this and the forging hammer you sure had a bad night of scripting.
You're telling me. The hammer incident is even weirder because that script was rock solid for a month without tweaking.
And when I came back ATK I found my cute little marnet buddy on the ground in the guard house. Somehow I didn't have a log of how that happened, so now I'm even more paranoid.

It depends on how SO drain works. IIRC, You get 24 hours of DO drain in notably shorter hours, explicitly because they don't want to give players an IG advantage just for being AFK in a house all day. SO drain might be the same.
I do believe that TF gets more DO drain per day, because of the assumption that they're also training 24/7 (unlike Prime/Plat), but I don't know if SO drain was adjusted accordingly the same way, since that's less of an explicit thing that happens from general gameplay.

I did not realize that. I just figured that out though, so thanks.
Apparently I was also in posession of a Xala'shar scimitar, which apparently causes social outrage somehow? Not sure what the exact mechanic is there. Whoops.
