I just got a new horse from the stables and its been trained for combat. But when in combat it just stands there. what am I doing wrong? Also when to I get to be able to signal my horse to attack a critter?

Also, make sure you are not leading it if you not mounted.

Combat just teaches horses not to freak out.
War teaches it to attack.
