The Chastise spell for Paladins is now live in prime and TF.

"Much as the Footman's Strike spell uses your weapon as a focus, the Chastise spell focuses divine energy through your shield into a crushing wave of force."

2 slots, advanced TM spell, reqs Footman's Strike. It is multishot and will attempt to knock the target down. You must be holding or wearing a shield for it to work.

Along with this update Smite Horde now requires Chastise.

Please note that what's going on with the messaging in this spell is a little tricky - there are a few quirks that we're just going to have to live with, but please report anything you notice wrong with the messaging - it's entirely possible (maybe even probable) there are bugs still lurking in it.

The two known quirks:

If the shots stun the creature or the like that will message before the damage itself.

If any shot except the last actually kills the creature the message will be missing an "and" that technically should be there.
