I'll have to agree with this. I was fairly impressed by the group I stumbled into when setting this event up. I was a bit nervous about fishing for paladins in the Crossing Guild after the last time I did a paladin event there (a couple of years ago that resulted in a half dozen AFK scripting busts...ugh), but it went amazingly well this time.
I think this calls for a new quote...

I had a grand time when I had the chance to interact with others while I was in Crossings backtraining. I still stop by every so often when I'm down that way but it seems more deserted than usual as of late.
On that note...Dart I'd love a guildhall in Theren. One of the things I learned for my lecture was about the first (and last) guildhall in Theren and it would be grand if it another were built in its place.
Is that what the 'design a guildhall' contest was for some years ago?

I always liked Cleworths little office in the keep and was in fact disapointed years ago when it was said they were building a whole guild hall in theren. I kind of always thought as the keep itsself as a guild hall of sorts, at least the section containing the office and the chadatru altar.
If a guild hall is built in theren, I certainly hope it would be inside the keep. But personally I prefer the current setup. I mean, how many vast and largely unused guild halls do we need? I would rather see development efforts put into other areas (like a holy weapon recharge spot in theren at the chadatru altar in the keep).

Well I'm more interested in a place where we can all gather (like the main room of the Crossings guildhall) than an actual guildhall. It's nice to have a place to go than the bin in Langenfirth when I'm not hunting or training or whatnot.

I doubt it wuold be much of a gathering spot. Plenty of gathering spots in theren. The gate, horsemans and quad. Barons Table used to be but I tend to find myself alone in there hours on end these days. I am positive that a new guild hall you would find yourself sitting alone all the time, outside of crossing this has always been the case with guild halls.

Maece was building a new one and I won a holy icon for designing two of the rooms. I still haven't gotten the icon yet, not like I haven't mentioned that at all before or anything. :3
