Alamhif, Co-builder and Guardsman to the Bridge of life, The passage through the barrier between the great beyond and this world of mortals, has in his great wisdom allowed us to be the conduit of his favor... Likely we all as youthful squires heard tell of how this great gift was to be taught by the elders of our guild to those who have proven themselves worthy and willing to give of themselves to aid the fallen in their time of greatest need...
I have found through my studies of the Arcane and more specifically my recent endeavors into further understanding how it's corruption leads the weak down the path towards damnation... that I have discovered there is redemption for the wicked... and that those not sullied by evil act are indeed not forsaken by the Gods for many of their sorcerous undertakings. It seems that although these misguided souls are on the path towards perversion, they have a choice before them... through discipline and dedication the ones who we would call Necromancer can still be found worthy of Alamhif's Gift, and with his deeming of their worth, be granted passage back through Urrem'tier's barrier over the Bridge of Life to our mortal plane through his favor.
If the "Great Father" can deem these evil souls worthy of his great gifting... can we as Paladins ignore his shining example of compassion and forgiveness? Can we allow those still in God's favor yet shunned by society to be sought out, hunted, driven from society, murdered, and more likely through these actions tempted towards perversion? Do we do diservice to those we have sworn to protect through allowing it... some even participating in it?
OOC: Alamhif's Gift has a range of result when used on Necromancers. The results of it's casting can be used to tell if a Necromancer is one of the foresaken. Necromancers who have incured the wrath of the Gods by commiting sacriligous acts will be found unworthy of carrying Favor with Alamhif... and gives Paladins a tool they can use to discern if said Necromancer has surpassed the level of Divine outrage indicitive of perversion.
NOTE: I am not certain that the only way to be found unworthy of Alamhif's gift is through breaking the Gods' rules concerning mutations of life and death... but it is possible that some way exists.... because of this I do not advocate AG for telling if someone is a necromancer or not.... only for telling if they are forsaken... if the distinction of "unsullied" and "forsaken" mean nothing to you... then I guess the results of casting this spell wont mean much to you.

You know that Forsaken isn't the same as Perverse, oocly, right? Being considered Perverse is a social outrage related thing, not divine.
That said, I think this would be an awesome thing to run with icly. Why should a paladin know enough about necromancy to get these distinctions correct anyway?
