I was referred here in hopes of getting a good tanned shield from one of the new patterns from Boar Clan, preferrably a buckler similar to the one you see above.

Are there any of you Paladins who would be able to help me, please? I am looking for one that is at least fairly sturdy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I wouldn't use garg hides for the buckler... it doesn't seem to turn out so well.

No. High is a better protection range than good.

There isn't a combat application in DR where anyone would care about the bottom range of an appraisal. I have a one speculation on the significance of low range, but I really don't care about it enough to discuss or test.
