Does horse combat teach AL? If not, can it?

Is there ever going to be a reason to have AL skill, other than horsey titles?

I've ignored AL, rationalizing it as a colossal waste of time.

There's already a reason, albeit a very small one. Blood critters (since tending them teaches this skill, chances are good that it affects your ability and thereby potentially letting you train with them earlier).

J'Lo, no that other one

I won't argue that. In general, its a very reasonable answer.

In spite of my negative attitude toward AL, and the entire horse system, I was kind of hoping there'd be a War Horse reason, or a Paladin companion (Dog, Lion, etc...) reason.

It needs some work, even if it's done for a guild that I can't benefit from. AL is just a pointless system now like scouting. It's got like 3 uses and you cap those out at 70 ranks.

Oh and a Ranger title at 200 AL which I also have an will never use.
