Just curious if anyone knows why my horse is nervous and trembles, he's well fed and clean, I take him hunting and I hang out with him for hours. I've had him for about.....3 months or so. Paladin Comfrin

could be race intolerance, overworked in hunting, someone hidden... and I am sure a couple more. Pet, hug clean etc should do the job, even riding or sitting on the horse seems to help as well.
If your horse won't calm down in 10 minutes you might want to stable it and then get it back out in about 5 minutes or so.

It seems to be the effect of too much of "something". I noticed it alot when hunting for long periods of time. It does lessen somewhat as your bond grows stronger.
As far as recovering from that, the best I have been able to figure out, or that makes any resemblance of sense is to do the pet hug feed care stuff often enough so you don't get the approach "palm down" message. I beleive this type of activity also helps strengthen the bond.

Filfar,
There are a few of us who have achieved the first level of the bond. From our understanding there are several levels to it. The only way you can tell you have achieved a level is to type SIGNAL HORSE and you will see a SIGNAL HORSE TO CHARGE command. To be honest, it seems horses have been shoved down the list. There has been almost no work since their release. Noone has actually come out and said what needs to be done. The few of us that have the first level aren't even sure what we did right, except we have spent 100's of RL hours with our horses. The horse doesn't really act any different from what I've seen...Cept maybe they get nervous even quicker. Being the big tough war horses they are, they need to be treated very gently and patted every 3.4 seconds while hunting. Otherwise they get nervous and that's bad for the bond. We think.
Hope this helps,
