the Guild, the Paladin guild at that"

Blasword smiles.

Blasword "The guild itself...Well.. I'd rather speak of
paladins, the guild as an organisation isn't really somethin
to be proud of"

Lluna "I was talking as a whole, so tell me why did you
become a Paladin?"

Blasword chuckles.

Blasword "Well I first was a ranger...family thing ye
know"

Lluna "I was a Ranger too funnily enough"

Blasword "Mother was murdered, was left in the hands of
Kalika..so I spent my life growin up as a ranger. Later on I
was moved to Langenfirth for more trainin. But I never
really cut it as a ranger"

Blasword "I've always been religious so I decided to join
the paladin guild after a while. I think I was 17 or 18 at the
time"

Lluna "I left after 18 circles too funnily enough, So why not
a Cleric?"

Blasword "Why not a paladin?"

Blasword "Paladins may nae be the foremost in connection
to the gods.. but we serve em jes the same, as their
warriors and enforcers of their own high justice"

Lluna "Thieves don't steal from Clerics but they do
Paladins, why ya think this is?"

Blasword "I never really have a problem with thieves.
Paladins make easy targets because of all that steel infront
of our eyes "

Blasword "And when ya reachin into the pocket of
someone that is constantly armored...well I'd say it would
be easier"

Lluna "Sure, but why do you think Thieves steal from us
when we do the same job pretty much as Clerics?"

Blasword "We don't do the same job as clerics"

Lluna "We are both in close commune with the Gods and
Holy"

Blasword "We are sister guilds, but if we both did the
same job.. we're easier targets, thats the foremost reason"

Blasword "It doesn't bother me that much, ya just need to
be smart"

Blasword "Don't go around carrying a platinum coin

Lluna "So how do you feel towards stealing in general?"

Blasword "I don't really think its that bad a thing"

something that originally isn't yours"

Blasword "If a holy relic was stolen...then I'd be obligated,
or an offering to the gods."

wrong to have something ye own taken from ye"

wouldn't help someone who asked you to track someone

cleric?"

Blasword "Thats different, Empaths powers are granted to
them by Hodierna and each day Empaths make
self-sacrifices"
Blasword "For anyone to prey on an Empath just because
of them being an easier target. Its nae only disrespectful to
the Empath, but the path they have chosen, and Hodierna."

Lluna "So what if that Empath steals from others and they're
just getting a dose of they're own medicine?"

obligated though and be wary when it conflicts with the
gods."

Lluna "What about the Paladin 'code'?"

Blasword "Ye mean that idealistic notion carried around
by paladins who can't distinguish between honour and
foolishness?"

Blasword "Hiding is a practice that in no way violates
what a paladin is, only problem is hidin in combat"

it as its been very useful"

between the provinces?"

Lluna "the Baron and the Prince Vorclaf seem a little tense
with each other"

Blasword "Personally I'd like to believe that the Baron is
obligated by diplomatic agreements to work with the
Prince on anythin"

Blasword "I am nae the Baron, and I do nae have the
access to verify the specifics of any documents but most of
any of the work the baron has done with the prince is
specified usually in alliance agreements"

Blasword "And Therengia, Zoluren, Ilithi, and Qi'Reshalia
are all allied"

Lluna "For now at least"

Lluna "What is the most important thing to you, as a Paladin
Blasword?"

Blasword "The gods come first"

Lluna "What about something that you think is important
that isn't in the book, as it where"

Blasword "Well this just an instance I've seen in Zoluren.."

Blasword "But some young paladins I've met in Darius's
guildhall don't even know about the Thirteen"

Blasword "besides that...I think that every skill is important
and a paladin should nae be afraid to train his stealth and
also survival skills are a must"

Paladins need to adapt more to our surroundings"

or even all thirteen of them. Someone who might have
devotion to all the 39 but serves the dark gods or a dark

to all the other gods"
