Anyone else seen this yet?

Almost felt like watching an Arny movie.

Might catch Around the World in 80 Days and maybe Dodgeball. But otherwise the new crop of movies that will be coming out this weekend don't look very appealing.

I saw it last weekend...it is what it is. It has been a long long time since I saw black and white or whatever it is called, and the previews made this look really awesome, but to me it wasnt hitting on all cylinders. Decent action scenes, rather questionable acting, and a very undeveloped storyline. This movie had the potential to be so many differnet things, and so much more then it was...but, it was mildly entertaining. If you were to wait for the video you wouldnt be depriving yourself of any great movie going experience. The ending does leave an opening, but for any type of sequel they are going to need a writer and director with a lot more vision.

If you can try watching Pitch Black before Chronicals of Riddick. It helps define Riddick a little more. I thought Chronicals of Riddick was pretty good but I had that background information before watching the movie.

I did like what they did with the character of Jack from Pitch Black, with brining to to Chronicles as Kyra (nice to get rid of that name) just a shame they had to kill her.

But yeah, very good opening for more there with the ending.
