Farewell Guild brothers and sisters, time has come for me to take a break from realms, not sure how long i'll be gone, not even sure if i'll be missed but thought i'd say c ya later anyways.
would have been good to have known you was in p5 Chasitee, would have come and found you to say bye in character/person

I took a year long break back when I was playing actively - now look at me. I'm a poster boy for vacations. {grin}
It's sometimes good to take a break and get a new perspective on things. When you're in the thick of things it's easy to miss the forest for the trees.

After about 11 years of playing DR, I guess this is finally the end of the line for Nikki. My heart hasn't been in it for a while, and the death of my brother in December made me realize that life's too uncertain for me to be spending it doing something that doesn't really appeal to me anymore. Most of the characters Nikki grew up with are gone now, and I'll admit, I never quite got over the loss of most of them. I know I always said that I'd have a party when I finally left, but, I can't even find the energy/will/desire to do that I'm afraid. As of Thursday morning my account will be terminated, and Nikki will be no more.
It was fun.
