It's pretty cool that you can display your features on your PROFILE.

However, the features don't include our mighty BEARDS!

... now, granted, as things stand now, any Dwarf worth his taffy has a full beard, and all you can really do is leave it, trim it, or braid it, so there isn't much worth right now in seeing the beard anyhow...

So I suppose this has turned from a "Hey can't we see our beards in our PROFILE" to a "Hey let's figure out more stuff to do with our beards and THEN make sure we can see them in our PROFILE." ;-)

Agreed. It does need to include our beards in our profile... but then as you said, we need beard stuff...

So, I was sitting around thinking about this and came up with a few ideas.

One thing that annoys me is that I have to re-braid my beard every time, why not have a beard clasp/cuff/fluff that holds your beard in place.

tap - A silver beard clasp embedded with onyx in the shape of a swooping raven.

In Beard - You have a thick bushy mustache that droops heavily on your upper lip and a thick beard twisted into three long braids with a silver beard clasp holding it in place.

Or beads that we could put in the beard.

tap - You tap some onyx beard beads in the shape of ravens.

In beard - You have a thick bushy mustache that droops heavily on your upper lip and a thick beard twisted into three long braids with onyx beads braided into the tips of the braids.

Of course, I don't really know what the proper term would be for something like that, whether it would be cuff/clasp/etc but hopefully you guys are getting the idea.

How about a piece of armor that is a beard guard? Wouldn't want anyone to hit us in our weak spot! hehe

It might look like this:

You have a long, narrow braided mustache that droops to either side of the mouth on your upper lip and a narrow beard twisted into a long braid protected by a leather/plate/chain beard guard.

Or something fancy to protect the beard from dropping into your food like this:

You have a long, narrow braided mustache that droops to either side of the mouth on your upper lip and a narrow beard twisted into a long braid sporting a silver/gold/bronze/copper/platinum beard guard.

Or something fluffy to put into our beards like this:

You have a long, narrow braided mustache that droops to either side of the mouth on your upper lip and a narrow beard twisted into a long braid threaded with coral/onyx/pearl beads.

>tap my guard
You tap a green nightsilk beard guard strung on a thin animite chain that you are wearing.

>l my guard
Two steel ravens swoop downwards, their wings touching to form a v-shape at the bottom of this beard guard. Green nightsilk covers each raven, save for glossy wingtips. Between them, a mass of onyx adders wrap around each other in a knotted pattern, with their draconic opal eyes staring out in all directions. The chain is attached underneath amidst quilted padding and is clasped with an oval clasp set with a serpent-shaped emerald. Dark amber medallions hang from the edges, engraved with Haakish words.
There appears to be something written on it.

>r my guard
A nightsilk beard guard reads:
"Arn Stok's Sidh Magas -- Trur, Sverth, Brawn."
