Funny you should say that... you don't know how right you are.

At the moment, I believe there are four Olvi characters in Plat. Laddyn, Nazirre, Mudge, and Souci.

In order to get to Master/Teach, do you simply have to practice more, like you did to get to Master?

Yeah. There are six levels. One-through-five are the different appearances of the images. The sixth level is the teacher level. No change in appearance, just the addition of the asterisk that means you can teach. <grin>

Might not be the right place to ask, but do you have any idea where smoke images cap for non-Halflings? Since ya'll are the smoke image masters.

It's different for different races. I believe humans and pseudo-humans can reach lvl 3, possibly lvl 4. I know that S'kra and Prydaens (and probably Rakash in moonskin) can only reach lvl 2. If there's call for it, I will post each smoke image and what each level looks like.

What about Gnomes. And I am still looking for someone to teach some smokin' pictures. I bounce around between Shard and Haven. Oh, and I am mostly in prime.

Find me in prime and I'll be happy to teach you. I can't seem to find the stats for races in my links like I thought I had. I'll keep looking for ya though.
