When the person who owned the phoenix smoke image left the realms, Bungles taught those wishing how to make the image. Does anyone, PC or GM know if the person who owns the bracelet smoke image is still around or not? If not, could Bungles have another class? Please?

<<Does anyone, PC or GM know if the person who owns the bracelet smoke image is still around or not?>>
Hi Eoworfinia,
I always enjoyed playing with you when our characters got a chance to interact, so I thought I would pipe in to answer, yes, the person who owns the bracelet smoke image is still around.
I won't speak for Fizzia's player, but I can personally say the whole "bracelet thing"... well, it took things from DR from me that I loved.
Is it just that the halfling community would like more smoke images? If the GMs released a new smoke image, would that satisfy? What if the GMs released 5 new images, or 10, is that enough? Or is the community never going to be satisfied until it has FIZZIA's image?
So everyone knows, Fizzia's player won a contest where a prize was a UNIQUE image. The fact that the GMs made her unique image teachable... well, what if they hadn't? But they did, so now her prize of a UNIQUE smoke image became, to the "community", really a prize to be the first person to teach a new smoke image.
So is the community selfish for wanting her image, or is Fizzia selfish for not teaching? I use the word "selfish" here intentionally, since it was about the time the "community" started calling Fizzia selfish, and suggesting publically that when new images were released that they be kept from Fizzia and myself that I started losing heart.
Older players will know I put a lot of time and effort into building a halfling community. The above sentiments didn't sit very well with me. Seemed like in my favorite message boards, "every other thread" was about her bracelet image. It's been years (?) this is going on, and still when I pop in to read the boards, here we are again!
I dread hitting post, I dread waiting for replies. How fun is that?

ps. Did you guys really go from 9/21/05 to 2/11/06 without a single post? Wow.

As far as the rest of the post....
I think it's perfectly acceptable that Fizzia didn't want to teach the image to anyone. My own Olvi, who got all 22 images only because he was the only Olvi online when Fial logged on to release them, will only teach the three unique images to other Halflings that he knows. When anyone asks him to teach images, he makes that point immediately clear. I don't see why this would be contested by others, but I guess it's no more ridiculous than people spurning Clerics for not rezzing.

I think u're taking things a little more seriously than they are.
If the orignal owner of the image is still around, its all good to keep it as the unique covetted image. But since players haven't seen him/her around, they're jus twondering if the person left the DR for good then why not share it to the public, is all.
Almost immediately, you grow dizzy, tottering from side to side until finally collapsing to the ground, dead asleep.
You drop your iron trunk.
Roundtime: 7 seconds.
>awaken
You can't do that while you are asleep.

Mykk! How are you? We've missed you, ya know. Thanks for piping in, I knew you would know for sure.
I don't begrudge someone for wanting to keep something unique, it was given and awarded to her. Seems rather silly but then I wasn't around or aware of many things when it was given. I personally would love a few new images taht could be taught. I have sorta reached a point I don't want the bracelet image even if it was offered to me on a silver platter since it seems so important to Fizzia not to pass it on. As far as I'm concerned, the image doesn't exist since I've never seen a halfling do it. Yes, torn between anger and understanding on the subject and either way, see it as silly.
