You folks sure are quiet. Where's the witty banter, the stories of drunken tartfests, the stories of the quest for the everlasting tobacco pinch?
So besides me, does anyone else have a long list of stuff for our illustrious leader?
Anyone care to get some community gatherings started? Anyone wanna kick Mykk in the butt and get his Thainship workin'? Someone go find Rascalt and make him throw a party!
Who ever thought I'd be a moral officer? <grumble>

I take offense! I am a moral and upstanding citizen of Arthe! Even if I do let my hummock get overgrown with thorny bushes. I'm a bard, not a gardener!
I demand satisfaction for this grievous offense!

Sidenote: I got all excited cause it said there were 8 new posts, but I came in and there were only 3 <frown>. Here I thought I'd got you guys riled up and talking again! Maybe I should just plan my own Olvi party, even if it will suck more than a Rascalt one.

Besides being confused, I'm now thirsty. Apple wine is good stuff... even if it IS a wine <grumble>.
Oh, and as far as "why talk about it now"... because no one talks around here any more! And apparently pokin' em with a stick didn't seem to faze them much. Dang lazy olvi. They're probably drunk and stuffed with tarts <grumble>.
Maybe I'll just have to plan a gathering for August, to tide us over till yer party. Maybe it could be a party planning party! We'll brainstorm ideas for you.

Bleh, that ain't apple wine. Forgot the name of the winery, but we got a really good local one here in St. Louis.
Speaking of booze, besides wines, what is the typical Olvi drink? Are they drinkers of stout, lager, ale, mead, cider? My assumption is that the more fruit oriented drinks would be commonplace, though I wouldn't put anything past our agricultural talents. What are the various Olvi settlements known for brew wise?
Which reminds me... we need a Brewmaster career when/if those ever come out. Along with a Tobacco farmer <nod>. Better yet, lump em together into an Agriculturalist or somesuch, so I can do both.
Oh, and what the heck would Tipple actually taste like if it were a real drink? Inquiring minds and all that junk.

Rum. And if you are considering destorying the rum, all I'll do is tell you to hide the rum.
In Ratha, the farmlands on fourth tier are dripping with descriptions of barley and such for ale. Of course, one of the Ratha families, Olvi I might add, is known for their agriculture. I quote from The Government of Ratha Through History, "Ninth is House Pantel, a Halfling family. This well- off House initially from central Zoluren, came to Reshalia after the parceling of the Empire into the Five Provinces. They bought up most of the prime agriculture land on the island, where they began their trade of growing high quality grain. This they sell directly to the other merchant families, who ship the low priced goods." I know the Wayfarer's Tankard Room is filled with ale's for every taste pallet as well.
Okay, that might have been way more than you wanted to know Danner. From what I've seen, Olvi tastes seem to revolve around berries and sweet, lots of sweet. All other drinks that are overly sweet, others will find too much. Course, I do love the Taffleberry Smoothie sold on Ratha as well.
Shard has some wonderful flavors too. I mean, I make it a point to sample everything no matter where I travel. Tea shop in Haven is delectible. Aesry has so many stairs, I get to eat 3 times the amount of food and drink to keep my plump figure! Okay, I'm off to drool!

A snow goblin reaches down and gently pets your corpse, then quickly looks about to make sure no one noticed.

Oh, I'd never forget about the Odalva. I was just throwing out agricultural references for more than just tipple and other sweet type drinks. Course, I still can't get over how the Pantel's don't have a place they sell their cigars on Ratha! <sigh>
