>>You want lots of translated items. Many of us don't see the point unless it's specifically DIFFERENT from a regular item.
That's kinda whats been stated. But not really. Please don't make assumptions based on your lack of patience with the given subject.

Actually, no.
There is a line between what sort of items can fit under compromise 1 and which can fit for compromise 2. It doesn't have to all be one or the other. The things which are unique and deserving of names from their origin (translations) should be kept as such and better represented. If this causes them to become a household name than the jarring looking up of words is done. Simply put we are playing a text-based game and encountering words beyond your vocabulary... happens. If that word is from some fictional language written just for this game, I can understand its use.
I don't think that shoving everything into a basic template for the sake of digestibility is the way to represent that language, culture, race, etc. I've stated before that a multitude of other racial items, places, and terms exist in this game. None of them are jarring to me, and all of them are logical in the game which spawned them.
This whole thing has come down to how each of us plays this game and what we are enjoying about it. As I said before its obviously different things. I'm happy to agree to disagree on the whole issue. I don't have to convince you of anything, nor do you have to convince me. My suggestion was made, your opinions expressed.
Moving on...
