There IS a Rakash Champ, I am alive and well. It takes a very long time to design, build and clear an area as large and involved as Siksraja. ALL the items and things in Siksraja are within policy and went thru the rigorous QC all new areas undergo.

I have ALWAYS designed items/stories for Rakash to leave the option of how much roleplay they wish to create with their player up to the individual. There is no need for anyone to look stuff up, the Rakash language exists and is in use, if you do not wish to utilize those types of items, do not. I certainly have had to look up many weapons that are in use that do not seem to have upset anyone because they are not in Rakash and many of those have been mentioned in previous posts. (nimsha, bola, to many to mention here) No one makes you use anything, it is a choice that is up to you.

I regret not seeing this earlier but was otherwise occupied. Let this be the end of the discussion. I am posting to assure the Rakash I am still here, they are not abandoned, and there is NO MESS to be cleaned up!

Reposting in a less confrontational way.

This seems a bit ambigous. Do you mean that it's allowed to have weapons completely in an ingame language (getting a war hammer changed to a "uruku kulaka" for example) or do you just mean that all the items in Siksraja are okayed and we're only allowed to use the ones that a GM has written as distinct from a generic version?

I am going to assume the latter. Those items have gone through the "rigorous QC all new areas undergo". The uruku kulaka has not. Further, I doubt you could get a mattock altered to an uruku kulaka for the simple reason that it has been stated repeatedly that they will/cannot alter an item's noun. Or whatever.

You may have missed the part where most of us mentioned we could do without those as well.

Bolas, however, are an actual weapon. DR's particular brand may be the bola perdida -- the single-ball, but I'm not certain. I've never actually cared enough to check.

Frankly, I'm not interested in seeing more gibberish in the game. A continuing trend toward it will certainly diminish my interest in the game; if I am going to learn another language it may as well be one I can score proficiency pay in.

I have zero issue with people choosing to use their native language sprinkled in to Common or even speaking in it by default. Those are fine and acceptable uses of a language. Titles are a stickier wicket but OOC enough that we're not going to fight that particular battle. But when my character LOOKs at another character he sees what they're wearing and what they're holding. These descriptions need to be plain English.

This is not entirely true. They won't alter it to a completely different type (axe to sword) but they'll alter it to a similar one (axe to broadaxe, halberd to glaive).

I've had it done.

IMO, it depends on the GM, what the GMNPC being run does, and the alignment of the stars.

In the end, I think it's a mix between some GMs being able to/not being able to change nouns mixed with the rule-based thing you mentioned.

Hi Anji!

So, about those colors... can you tell us for sure if they are just translated words for generic colors or if there is some sort of attribute to the color which separates it from the normal spectrum?

I think Siksraja is awesome. I think the racial-items are awesome. I may be the minority. :)

Last time I comment on this entire issue: have you ever tried to put three items, each dyed red at a different place and time, next to each other? None of the colors will be identical. There is great variation within the known definition of what creates red, or blue, or green and so on. Those items stocked in Siksraja are the color they are.

Please enjoy the shops and their merchandise.

Thank you Anji. I just wanted some clarification.

How about a Siksraja related issue? What's with the locked shed on the way to the "Awksa Dzilvawta Ala", is that something for future plans or should I keep messing around with it and trying to get inside?

If you say nothing, I assume you are holding secrets and I will start throwing naphtha at the door in an effort to burn it open. :)
