On May 4, 2008, my character needs to find someone, and what better way to do this then to have my wolf track them down, right? Wrong! Now I get this message when I try to track my wolf...."You attempt to track the young wolf but don't notice any unique details about it that would help you identify it from any other wolf." Is this part of the new Req changes? Am I doing something wrong? Im upset at this, and Id like a direct answer.

That sounds like the message you would get if you didn't have enough skill. Maybe you trashed your bonus enough that you can't track it any more? Have you tracked it to people in the past?

no, no there was not. In fact, I tried in several different areas in the Rossmans area to track my wolf, both inside, and outside the city. I had her sleep, and whistled her back in, and didnt work even. But everything worked fine once I got back to Lang.

Still sounds like a bonus issue. Some areas are more wilderness than others (even if they get the same PACE messaging), so it's likely you have just enough skill to do it in the higher wilderness.

Some say the bonus doesn't work that way, but I did tests on it several years ago and concluded that has to be the case.
