Okay, I still haven't gotten one. I haven't given up, but I am very discouraged. I actually thought about making an assist on it, but I don't want any GMs getting mad at me over this, if it is a silly reason to call on them. Anyways, here are my current stats:

16th Circle
55 in hiding
52 Perception
51 scouting
14 Charisma
15 Disc
15 intel
15 Wisdom
No debts
No warrants (I ran all over checking)

I forage all new corn each time I try, I've tried using spells, not using em, rubbing the corn, not rubbing it, and I know I'm in the right room because when I put the corn on the ground it works, not the "what are you trying to do?" message. I have had a raccoon in the past and lost it, and I remember when I got it it only took a minute, if that. That was a long time ago, though, so maybe its a little different, but I still can't understand why nothing is working. I still only get the rustling leaves and sense something nearby and sniffing messages.

*flails her arms* I'm just so frustrated with this. All I want is a little buddy to play with and care for and love. (I'm a huge animal/nature person, which is the reason I joined this guild in the first place) Why does it have to be so hard?

It's been a bit since I got my last raccoon, but I thought the command to put the corn on the ground was PLACE corn on ground, then hide and wait for it to come out. Then approach the little fella and if it stays immediately signal the wolf to jump and get the hell out of there. Them hawks are murderers!
