Ok, I think getting a wolf is broken. I tried today to get one, checked all the towns to see if I was wanted...I'm not...have no debt, and tried 2 times to get one. When I try with milk in hand and kneeling, the pack sniffs at me with disinterest.
While I was there the second time, another ranger, Kanaeia (sp?) tried as well and the same thing hanppened to her. The other day, Bahbtarohl (sp?) tried as well and the same thing happened. He said he wasn't wanted as well.
So...since all these tries happened after bonus change, could it be that somehow affects this? My bonus isn't bad (2 away from full bonus). Anyway would someone check this?

Did you check the islands too, to see if you were wanted? Did you try to whistle for your comp, to see if it truly did run away? I dont think I've ever kneeled to get a wolf. Try standing? Also, I think one time I had a bleeder, and the pack did not like that. Do you have any bleeders? Hopefully, you can figure it out. Good luck.

I didn't check the islands because I haven't been to them since I was circle 45 and have had many wolves since then.
I was looking at a web site (forgot I had the little guy out) and just when I checked back to the game, I saw Lucky leave "seems like it's for good".
I have always knelt for a wolf. Figured that doing so would put me at pack level and less intimidating for a wolf pup.
I had 2 bleeders the first time I tried. On the way down to Shard I realized that that might have been the cause of disinterest so I jumped the ferry back and tried again after all my bleeders had healed. No luck. :" (

Wow great! I was at the bottom of the cliff west of Crossing, in cougar country. I knealt (like I always do) with milk in hand until a pack came and they sniffed at me disinterestedly.
Am curious---WAS it the bonus changes that broke wolves?
And will head back up there to see if I can get a wolf!
Keep it up Sithix and you could overtake Zeyurn and Armifer as my favorites...oh and Socharis and Audacia.

I pretty much talk to those people daily and without them I would be dead in the water. Without favors. Nor Spiteful Rebirth.
