Hi Everyone.
I need to find a good way to train scouting out of combat as I'm not yet able to scout many of the trails yet and in combat its a bit tricky for me to cut down on any squelch I hear. I am one of the several blind players who play dragonrealms and I've recently returned to playing my Ranger.
I know about hunting hengwald and then tracking him but is there a specific way you can do this that will train scouting well enough for me before I tackle the ranger trails?
If I can find a good way to train scouting without smashing my bonus i'll be a happy ranger.
I want to take this opportunity to thank Pfanston for all the work he has done to help players like myself in Dragonrealms Pitty there's no mentor of the year award or something this man is fantastic and incredible.
I apologise for mentioning my disability here I'm not trying to gain sympathy or that rubbish I'm trying to find a good way to train so I can enjoy Rangering a lot more better.

I think any trackable npc will work for training around the crossing. You might check if the journeyman is HUNTable out front of the ranger guild. The rooms there are really noisy without good squelches but the southern one tends to be quieter. You could probably step outside the east gate and track to hit the louts out in the hunting area. You might see if you can get squelches for hunt in combat in your front end it might pay off, even when you can run trails keeping scouting moving during combat will pay off quite a bit.
If you need to avoid using HUNT in combat then Ranger trails will likely be your best bet once you can get to around 50 to 60 ranks in Scouting. They're very easy on the text scroll. Before that, I'd recommend just finding a class.
