Is carrion call the only TM spell that is finely targetted?

I have not chosen eagle's cry and use strange arrow currently

I have a great fondess for Carrion Call - it's pretty gruesome and dark - oh, and effective! And Eagle's Cry is also fantastic and effective! I don't know what you mean by "finely targetted" - but both of these spells target 1 critter of your choosing. :D

By finely targeted, do you mean, prepare target spell, target <critter> body part, cast? All our spells should be able to do that.

I like Carrion Call (CAC) as it 'auto-targets' body parts that have prior wounds. Eagle's Cry is the Ranger's entry TM spell, which should be fairly accurate and does ice and puncture damage. Stampede is a multi-hit fire-damage TM spell, while Devitalize is single hit that does ice, impact, and fatigue damage.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

Actually Eagles cry, and devitalize can be finely targeted, like Carrion call.

Stampede is a multi strike attack so you cant really control it and just target the critter as of magic 3.1. However, its supposed to be finely targeted in magic 3.2 which we have now. I don't think I have ever tried to confirm you can actually do that at this point. And having just tested it you can indeed now finely target body parts on the critters.

At one time Awaken forest was considered targeted and utility but you could not target it finely or at all it just never worked and it was changed to only training utility in the last 3.2 changes.

At one point you could not target eyes with some of our spells it was considered too fine for the spell type but for the most part fine targeting of limbs and head and chest, back, abdomen are all possible now.

Why do you want to finely target?

Carrion Call will just save a step in the killing process.
I like to look at critter and then aim at the largest wound.
Slice abdomen
prep stra 4
tar abdomen
slice abdomen
cast
