Hello, new addition to your great guild :) Is there novice nights? I couldn't find any posted up on the calender.

What docks? They are out of sight! You suddenly wonder if no one can see the docks...do they still exist?

actually, Taelbert's is friendly.
[Taelbert's Inn, Lobby]
Though many such inns dot the landscape, Taelbert's is known as especially hospitable to locals and wayfarers alike. Here in the lobby, clerks busy themselves behind an antique mahogany counter, seeing to the needs of guests and directing the activities of the rather large staff. You also see a wooden staircase.
Obvious exits: south, west, out.
>pace
You glance about the area while pacing back and forth, like a large, stalking mountain cat.
You tap a leather cuff embroidered with the words "No Ranger stands alone." that you are wearing.

I attended the last novice nights to help in any way I could. Alot of sillyness and drinking. not too many true novices showed this last time. But we had fun anyway. Following the meeting we had the ever popular "one true arrow" contest. which I won grin with an almost perfect score ( damn wrong arrow for the first shot ruined that one ) but I will try to be at the next one , if we do another contest I will be providing a dencent prize.

I think it should be noted that you don't need to be a true "novice" to come to these meetings. I started attending when I was a new novice, and have continued to show periodically ever since (even though I am no longer a novice). I think every time I go I learn something. Also, when I go with the intention of not asking questions one always comes up that I have to ask. Plus they can be alot of fun.
Basically I'm saying, that novice nights are appropriate for people of all skill levels.
