Roundtime: 4 sec.
HR>howl

>peer n
You peer north and see ...
[Wilds, Pine Needle Path]
Birds dart in and out of the dense shrubbery here, calling to one another in cadences that are almost comprehendible. Responses seem to emanate from the wooden structure ahead, a timber building with ornately carved double doors, and seemingly without a roof. You also see a young wolf, a braided lead rope, a tall wooden figure whose gaze seems to vigilantly scan the surroundings, and a waste bin.
Also here: First Aid Dilettante Crystalian who is sitting.
Obvious paths: south.
>
>track
The trail is somehow confused and you are unable to decipher the correct direction.

So there in lies my problem! Even repeated the experiment with a 30 WS up... no avail.

I guess I need more scouting?

Thanks.

Was there someone else in-game with Cry as the first three letters of their name? I've seen something like that happen before with familiars, so I don't know if that would confuse companions or not.

Ryeka's got a point. Your wolf will find the first person that shows up when you do FIND CRY. Furthermore it'll take a little more than 80 seconds for your wolf to find someone.
#Quick script to track your wolf to someone.

IF_1 GOTO track
ECHO **********************************
ECHO .track [target]
ECHO Tracking time is 85 seconds.
ECHO **********************************
EXIT

track:
PUT track wolf
PUT signal wolf to find %1 and wait
WAITFOR A full-grown wolf pads off
#The following is a YASSE only command
USER TrackTime second 85
PAUSE 85
PUT track
EXIT

Does it take longer for a young wolf to find someone than a full grown?
