Just a note to let you all know, I'm not gonna be in game until I find a new power cord for my laptop. Mine broke.
anyone know if they sell em?

They should, depending on how old it is. Can probably look on Ebay as well.
Another idea is to look at a general electronic store, for a generic one. The only thing you'll have to be conscious about is that the voltage and amperage of your new one can produce the same as the old one. Those are crucial, so that you don't fry your board. But if you get something that is capable of producing the same marks, it should work as well.

I've heard rumors about your laptop. I think this is a sign that it's trying to kill itself. Sometimes you just have to let go!

Whew... scared me when i saw the starter of the thread! Thought you were leaving the game for a long period!

Thanks for the advice and support and boy did I miss you all! Yes they sell power cords...mine came by way a slow caravan from Tibet I think. Withdrawal was awful...
Han I think you are right...I think my laptop is trying to die. I won't let it. Replacing the hard drive and powercord is still less than getting a new one that anything besides the very basics.
And as for the hugs--- well...I'm a huggy person (you should meet my mom; nothing but hugs for the next 5 minutes after you arrive) so somedays I just have to hug everyone I meet! : D
And no, I'm one of those optimistic happy happy happy folks, the huggy smoochy that smooch over gweths---really I'm not!
So what did I miss?
