Okay, I'll be bluntly honest, I've been playing my Ranger Trille off and on for many, many years now. I consider myself a fairly competent roleplayer and some of you have encountered my other characters Grahmn and Lorrec as well as may remember Lassitier Al'verith, a Paladin from waaaay back. Anyways, I've been having the darndest time over the years figuring out a way to roleplay my ranger. So I started this thread to hear how YOU roleplay YOUR ranger. Hopefully to give me some ideas on a persona for Trille. Do not worry I won't be "stealing" anyones ideas, but I know from experience hearing how others play characters sometimes gets the old creative juices flowing. So feel free to share, and maybe help educate someone else as well. :)

Telemann evolved.

I don't think I really started to develope a personality until I had been playing for some months. So, maybe just figure on playing a while, see who you interact with, your situations, what you hunt, etc. Think of it as growing into the role. Telemann was about age 15 when she became a ranger, by about age 18 or 19 she had grown into her own way of doing things. So, give it some time, and let your environment shape you.

Who Telemann is now depends on who you talk to. Fortunately for me, I've been around long enough that not many know who I am anymore, so I get to alienate a whole new generation. ^_^

I play Sylviir Thoareus. I was dropped off at the orphanage in Crossing as a baby. I grew up there and left as soon as I was able. I enjoy being far away from that cursed orphanage though I hear they've become better with their children now. Also, that little urchin that's always selling stuff...he's not a little kid, he's a midget and he can be mean to little kids. I don't like him much as he was mean to some of my friends when I was growing up.

I don't wear a lot of fluff and I carry all sorts of things around with me. Sometimes things that aren't even worth anything but I just hate to leave something behind. I like to travel and don't like to die in Malchatas (I just found out).

Sylviir...the ebony skinned, platinum haired Elf type ranger.
