Hmmmmmm.... Unless Paglar comes down and announces that we have a new floating guild leader then I don't think anyone should be calling themselves a guild leader. All those things Kyssandra is doing, being nice and helping folks and spending a lot of time around the guild and yada, yada, yada has been done plenty over by many a Ranger. Off the bat. Snare. Never did he claim to be anything more than he was and he was a great in many eyes. Kivian is another Ranger that comes to mind. During invasions in which she has been around the guild she will group up Rangers and help defend the guild til the last enemy is left searched or skinned. Does that make her a guild leader? No, it makes her a great Ranger.

All those things Kyssandra does are handled by Mentors and there are some great Ranger Mentors and all you have to do is apply, I know, I was one for awhile because all I did at one point of my Ranger life was sit around the Crossings guild teaching and offer help, so I became a Mentor. If she wants, she can call herself Ranger Guild Mentor.

I guess everyone that hangs around her has their reasons for wanting to call her that Kalika, Marion, Tomma, Tolle, Paglar and Roopardua all earned their titles. Not just by sitting around helping folks but by spending years in the wild learning what they had to learn so they could pass it down to others and make sure they could recognize the experience in a person and tell them they are ready to advance. The only two Rangers at this point that I know I can turn to and will be able to judge me by my skill are Dritz and Fengreve. They may not know me but they could tell me if I'm ready or not because they have "been there, done that" and then some. I've sat around the guild and I have seen some of these new gen Rangers, educating a Ranger doesn't mean just giving them helpful advice on how to gain stalking and stuff like that, try telling them to go and find those real guild leaders out there. I've come across too many Crossings Rangers that have no idea who Tolle or Marion is, let alone have found Tomma in her new spot.
