Yea, I am way behind, what with the scripters and what not that did it alot sooner then 13 years. Just realized a bit ago, hit 600, and then some.

Do not feel like the lone ranger (pun intended), I am still trying to figure out how to write a script. I have read, re-read about them even reviewd scripts and after the first 10 lines my head is spinnng. So I like you hand type everything. Nice to know I am not the only one.

No, he refers to the semi-large sect of people (not just rangers) who keep multiple bleeders, and have an auto-tending script for them (perhaps triggers with genie, rather than a script.)
There's a large number of people who walk around with 'gaping holes' in their chest and abdomen and back and whatnot, and need merely to have a script written to tend the wound and never touch it again. And with the current system of 0rt on most tends, it doesn't even impact their training whatsoever.
Alot of it comes down to
game mechanics/playability vs. realism.

I get most of all my fa ranks from generous empaths that allow me to tend them. I for one cannot stand walking around leaking from every orafice. I also am a very good tipper to the empaths generally 50-100 plat per session. Though I will say that Fa is one of my lower survivals.

Congrats on making your 600 in FA! Don't feel too bad about taking 13+ years....it's been about the same time for me too and I'm not nearly circle or ranks that others are. I don't script either. I looked at scripts but I,too, can't figure out how to write one. And it also comes down to the fact that I think why play a game only to sit there and stare at the screen while "playing"?
Also along the same lines...yesterday I reached my first 400 rank in something. Go me! : D

I agree with you Zinaca, its how you play the game. If you are having fun it does not matter if it takes you 20 years to get to 600 ranks.
Though, it is a great accomplishment when you reach some of your goals! oh and 400 in any rank is not too shabby.
Asterid ( my in-game uncle) is not only lots of fun in game but a kind soul. He need to get my in-game father back in the game tell em the honeymoons over! I think it is awesome that he and you take pride in your achivements!
I also agree that though I would love to learn to script as typing n then s over and over whilst swimming is a pain in the butt as is foraging. Climbing is not so bad. I have been able to write my own travel scripts but I purposely made them very slow as I find it disturbing when folks run martathons from one place to another. I am not by any means saying that its wrong to run marathons just I choose not to.
So Asterid and Zinaca what are your next goals?
Mine is to get off my backside and actually hit Transcendent Ranger, I am a hairs breath away currently and it will probably take a couple months to reach it but I will be so glad when I do.

You know, are you sure you don't have a couple of keys on your keyboard that pick up the last command and the second to last command? I played on Wizard on 3 different computers (apple and windows) and had 3 hot keys that remembered the last 3 commands. Then I switched to Stormfront and have a windows netbook I play on and have 2 keys that remember the last 2 commands. I can hit ctrl and alt to get the last 2 commands. Try it? You might find you have those hot keys. It sure makes it a LOT easier for swimming, and traveling. And it's how am able to give those rapid fire smelly ranger hugs too!
As for goals...well lessee. My major goal is to make Legendary this year. My 2 sub goals are to train climbing, swimming and foraging to get up to where I don't embarrass myself at Legendary. Nothing like getting Legendary status and can't climb the branch south to Ilithi.
Say heyo to Asterid for me. He is very nice and didn't kill me when I called him a girl by mistake. (Can I help it I once had an girl named Asterid as my college room mate?)
