I hunt almost exclusively in germish'din, though I think you can find golden boxes anywhere. You just have to go through enough boxes to trip the odds. Germish'din boxes typically are worth a few gold each, and huge amethysts, or other such aren't too rare. It's good money, but I think you can make more skinning if money is what you're looking for.
