Randal says, "Aye, that will be 12500 Kronars to repair the bow Jeincains."
You fish out the Kronars and pay him.

Randal takes the bow from you and writes out a repair ticket. Handing you the ticket Randal says, "Just bring this ticket back in 10 minutes and I'll have the bow ready for you. Don't lose this ticket! You must have it to claim your bow."

Thats gotta be a record or sumthan!

It's entirely based on the apraisal value of the item and damage.

Player made items have low app values, so very low repair costs, but some times you just don't have the choice of a cheap item :/

I had an auction LX that appraised at 350 plat. I died once, departed, and it was slightly damaged. I had it repaired and it cost me something like 15 plat lirums. I sold it the next day.

To avoid grave damage you could also keep it in a baldric that will hold a bow, or you could also tan yourself a bowcase if you have over 100 in all mech lore/leather skills.

Interesting... where is the bowcase worn?

Shoulder.

Holds 2 bows. It has problems though. You can get a bow fine from the bowcase, but you can't put it back in without taking it off. Unless this has finally been fixed in some way. Otherwise I'd say stick with the other options.

I think bowcases can be adjusted to fit other place slots. Its just annoying you have to remove them to get a bow out.

Get the baldric from P5. Holds 5 longbows and more crap.

Have to agree with you about the Hib baldric, Jalika...

>look in bald
In the kidskin baldric you see a black-bladed broadsword, a polished black jambiya, a silver-edged katar, a sabre, a sabre, a sabre, a mistwood longbow, a claymore, a bastard sword, a claymore, a scimitar, a broadsword, a long-bladed stiletto, a copperwood longbow, an ebony-hilted carving knife, an amber-hilted skinning knife and a silverwood short bow.

One bastie, one 2HE, two HE, four ME, five LE, two longbows and one short bow. And it wasn't full.
