We had access to TM. It just wasnt worth training it. Or too much of a pain. The options were to either get a rune, or rod from the magic store in shard, or sit in a class and listen. Neither way was very practical, IMO anyway. That was for what, the first 6 years or so. Then you could get the right scroll, but loose the spell if you weren't careful. Many of us figure though, since we were told for what, 12 years I think, that rangers had no need for TM. Oh well. I'm not complaining though, I took advantage of the open period two years ago, and managed to rack up enough ranks that I am happy with what I have and use it quite abit when I backtrain. I kinda love blasting things. Wish some of other spells would be moved to TM.

And by the way, 400 ranks in a tert skill set is very impressive.
