This might be known already, but I found it on accident..
As you rub the orb, it glows slightly more intensely and you feel a strange tugging, as if something has been moved from you to the orb. You sense, though, that your sacrifice is not yet fully prepared.

Scouting: 237 81% learning
It appears that Scouting is on a pulse gain... That is, like trading, you get EXP after the fact...
On another note..
Does anyone have a list of what each Guild Register looks at?

Scouting does pulse a little bit after you finish running a trail, I've noticed that.
As for the Registers... It's something like:
Kalika: no idea... general survival ranks maybe?
Tomma: Foraging and AL?
Tolle: Total bow ranks
Marion: Stealth skills

I'm pretty sure there's more to Kalika's than just circle. I'm 99.999% sure that I'm higher circle than someone who's above me on the list.

That's why I said it might be what goes into circle, not necessarily the circle itself. Do you know if this other person could circle above you if he/she wanted to? I guessed circle-related because Dritz, Forge and Fen have been at the top since their 100th circle event, and now Dryzt et al. are right behind them (last I was at the Crossing guild) since they were allowed to circle past 99th.
But that's why we keep you Fallen folks around, to test these things! Go figure it out and get back to us! ;P

Yeah he was a few circles ahead of me when he stopped playing like, a couple months ago. I know he didn't have the weaps to circle back then, so I'm sure I've passed him.
He probably has more general survival than I do, however. I suck at general survival. :(

Survival Average: 308 (Total: 3697 in 12 included skills) only 81st circle
Marion seemed to take perception into the calculations form what i've seen.
Kalika I'm still set is Swimming, Climbing, Maybe Skinning, and Firsaid but don't quote me on anything but the swimming and climbing.
Those who pride themselves on being the Hunter can easily become the prey.

At one point in time me and a friend were messing with the list trying to figure it out.
This was when spell boosters would affect the list. He would bump me out of the 25 spot when he was unbuffed and I could not bump him. When I would cast SPC I would pass him on the list. When I would cast CAIS, he would keep his spot and I was within 20 ranks of his swimming skill. So my belief is climbing is part of the list, I don't think swimming is. Plus if Swimming and Climbing both where part of the list, I would of thought Nimmo and Krin would of been a lot higher. I can't recall I time when I saw either one in the top 15. Of course they could of just been lacking the other skills.
My guess on the list is Climing, Scouting, Skinning, and maybe evasion.
This to me makes sence why the top of the list is the 100+ crew. They all have great evasion and skinning from hunting so much to get primary weapon. But the middle of the pack seems more diverse in circle range.

Raised FA about 100 ranks and perception about 40 or so. Also raised magics and mech lore, but not much else. Maybe a few ranks in scouting and swimming, but nothing of note.
Unfortunately, Bur's not around for me to compare notes with, so I can't give much more detailed info than that. All the other Rangers here are too far ahead of me for me to have a chance to pass them, unfortunately.
