Just tested petrify at 160 align. Last 10 minutes 10 seconds, with the same appraisal at a 40 align. It dropped my spirit pool down to 8%.

I utilized a formula given to me, backed up by the data collected (Thanks to Teeklin, as well as Teeklin and Jalika respectively).
Formula is: C * 3 + D + (w+i)/2
This determines how much you can align before you go kaput.
Spirit health pulses 4%, regardless of your stats.^
In order for you to keep up a beseech continuously
P = A / l
where:
P = Your pool
A = Amount you're aligning
l = Percentage of Pool you regenerate durring a beseech's duration
For example, Beseech to Petrify lasts just over 6 minutes.
This means you pulse thrice, since a Spirit health pulse is 2 minutes, which results in 4 * 6/2 = 12.
So, you'll recover 12% of your spirit health* durring the beseech.
We've found that Beseech to Petrify caps at 40, and has little effect at 30 alignment, so, assume 40.
40 / 12% = 333.
So, your pool must be 333 spirit points.
To give an idea, if you had 60 charisma, 40 Int, Wis, and Disc, you'd have a spirit pool of 180 + 40 + 40 = 260.
Meaning, you would be unable to keep the beseech up constantly.
Yikes. No good. No good at all.
