Does anyone know if it possible for the noun to be changed on an alteration?
Like from mapcase to map case? Or even from mapcase to scroll case/scrollcase?

>It is possible. I've had a shirt changed to a tunic, a cloak changed to a mantle, saw a circlet changed to diadem, and had a katar changed to a blade. So I don't see why not.
When I asked to change a katar to a blade I was told they wouldn't change the noun.

Moving carefully, you slip your hand into Ragran's pockets and carefully grab a platinum.
Roundtime: 2 sec.

I guess I got lucky. The only thing they made me keep was the maker's mark.
>tap blade
You tap a witch's blade of darkened steel with a pivuh-skin grip that you are holding.
>l blade
The supple skin of a pivuh masterfully binds this weapon's hilt in shimmering blue-green scales. Burned into the pommel is an image of a gnarled tree, while clever branding traces its branches as they twine around the grip. The image of a dragon perched on a mountain has been impressed upon the blade, its fiery breath shaping the initials "B.Q."
>app blade
A witch's blade of darkened steel with a pivuh-skin grip is a light edged melee-ranged weapon.
You are certain that it could do:
poor puncture damage
moderate slice damage
fair impact damage
You are certain that the blade is dismally balanced and is well suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.
You are certain that the witch's blade is of average strength, and is in pristine condition.
The witch's blade is made with metal.
You wonder if the witch's blade might weigh several tens of stones.
You are certain that the witch's blade is worth exactly 600 lirums.
>app katar

The katar is made with metal.
You are confident that the katar might weigh a few tens of stones.
