Three things:
1. Cool!
2. Currently playing FFVII so I read that as meta-Materia at first.
3. There's also an fabric in development that bends the light waves around what it covers, causing it to be obscured. I think it makes use of some of these principles. Its limited to small scale atm, and is probably going to be used more for the insulating properties of that refraction not invisibility.
