Now this one brings back memories of not being able to get in the game. "Trying brute force method" or something like that....

Names are purged. People with bad taste in names rejoice!

You see Pyro, a Gnome Commoner.

I reported it, got the "we're checking it out" response, and absolutely nothing happened. It's comforting to know they couldn't figure out how to join the Moon Mage guild, though.

Why did you report it again?

Heh. I reported Crazydan when I saw him wandering around the Ranger guild. Got the 'looking into it' message, and then he was in for another, oh, two or three hours. I don't know if he was eventually pulled up, or logged off himself.

Really disappointing, in my opinion. :/

Same with my reporting Macros. Got the message and he's still here. Hopefully they'll take this little computer guy and pull him up. He IS a novice.

<shrug>

I created the name Cruella De'Ville once and ran around crossing for a while. I was never caught, and eventually deleted her after about an hour or two simply from the fact that it was a really bad name.

For those that aren't caught, I figured punishment for them will be the mocking laughter when they get older and more established.

While testing S'kra stats once, I had to roll up a new short-term test character and on spur of the moment I called it Steg O'Saurus.

I myself was a child of the 80s, but it was the late 80s, and I stopped watching when I was 5 (Or it got canceled. I'm not too sure). I believe what we're all trying to say here is that I am a prime example of a foolhardy name allowed to prosper.

Mmm, yeah pretty much.

Not that I think there's anything wrong with your name at all. You think its foolhardy because you know what you were going for. I never have, and aside from humming the theme song I never thought twice about your name other than it was kinda weird that it made the think of cave dwelling Muppets. Now, if your name was say.. Sverdishsheef then well we have a borgi borgi BORK BORK BORK!

OK, I am not one to complain about names too much, look at mine, I am literally a star ( Qivalon ), but sometimes I have to say ouch...

* Anchovy was just struck down!

And his cousin:

* Fodfuc was just struck down!

Now if you can say this last person's name without cursing I will gladly apologize

Qivalon~

Easy, "fod" rhymes with "god" "fuc" rhymes with "spook." "Fahdfook."

Nothing wrong with Anchovy, pretty sure the fish was named after a person. I dunno, I don't do history. Fodfuc is fine if you don't say it out loud. Zerotheunknown is horrible. Then again most names that are 10 characters or more tend to either be phrases or just suck. <glances at own name> Uh...oh well.

As for Fragonrok, I keep thinking Jabberwoky for some odd reason.
