I have never had a problem with Ilithi's citizens, in fact... after hearing of some recent developments down there I sent my congrats to many. Heck, even my King offered to help the province with their Dragon Preist problems, which was denied.
I dont mind alot of people down there but the Shard goverment is just all kinds of wrong to me. This is not a new development either, they have had priorities messed up for a long time. The most blatent example of this backwards govement can be found at coriks wall. The emerald chonicales outlines alot of the early fighting at the wall and the goverments approach to it. Very eye-opening.
"The true fiber and character of Ilithi's citizens will be tested
strongly in the very near future. "
From what I've seen in the past few months, I would agree. But, while you run around looking for kidnapped paper-pushers...you could mount an attack on your enemy who is now minus one of thier war council. Should you continue to wait a replacement might be selected and a blood display would fallow as the newcomer mounts HIS attack to prove HIS mettle.
In the end, like stated: I have no problems with ilithi as a whole, just the people in charge through goverment and other holdings irk me. But, than I say to myself...these are reason why they were not ready for outcast justice and rule. I doubt you would react well to a King who cares, and youd prolly get mad at him for having all the enemies in the south put in check...Including the Shadow clan areas.

Ps. Not to overstep my bounds but really, I'd love to see my King square off aginst Xera. A battle for the history books thats for sure. I have no doubt the King would not have tolerated most of what the Shard govement does.

All anyone gotta do to for some cleansing is claim Raenilar is in their group and Ilithi would fall easily.
